Antique Bulgarian beaded bottle with strap. 8″ tall by 4″ wide. Very Good Condition – seam has come apart along bottom edge; loose threads where strap is sewn to bottle; no serious damage. This listing is for a stunning handmade beaded bottle from Bulgaria. I believe this dates to the end of the 19th/early 20th century and features remarkable craftsmanship and design. Incorporated traditional motifs, the Bulgarian flag held by lions? , the letter “B” (in Cyrillic), floral elements, and chickens or roosters. These are very rare items and the beading on this one is phenomenal – hands down one of the nicest examples I have ever seen of this type of work. The strap is also very well made and features the same zig-zag motif that goes around the top of the bottle. A tour de force and a welcome addition to any collection. 14 inches (35cm) tall x 9 inches (22cm) wide x 6 (15cm) in depth. Early 20th Century Indian, Ethnographic, used dance mask. My research suggests is a Rajbansi Tribe Raja Or Village Hero. Although, the cerebral palsy, sideways-lips makes me wonder if is a dual-meaning mask. It appears he is wearing a ribbed turban. Tons of character and use here. Multiple layers of old paint. Indian continues to be the least documented mask-cultures for some reason which is a shame. This one, coming from a much harder-to-reach jungle area than most if my assertions of origin are correct. The Island of Sri Lanka sits right below S. The influences are clear here. I have collected two others from this region and style over the years. I’d love to sell them as a family. I’d be happy to take off 20% off the group of three. Its also deeply carved, and over-sized as many masks from the Sri Lanka region typically are. Notable black painted beard at one point on the chin area. Patina on the back is heavy around the upper ends of the “rectangular area”, where the wearer once held the mask to their face. Deep dark patina on the back side bridge in the turban area from where the performer casual held the mask in a stand-by pose. The eye-cut-outs further reinforce any suspicions of this piece’s cultural accuracy. Bright, beautiful, and cosmetically stunning. The partially worn double red lines over the nose once were full half-moons, cuped, upside down. Hindu meaning is unknown to me. Piece once had bug activity. This item has since chilled in freezing temperatures in the Maine winter. I believe this region has now been included to UNESCO’s Intangible cultural assets list in 2009. Very Rare Early 1900 Korean Folk Item “Hussy” Wooden Container Box for Needlework, Thimble, needle and thread. The box is very nicely decorated on outside with Chinese characters and flower petals with double happiness in center of box. There are two sliding doors inside of box with Chinese characters but it looks like sliding doors are damaged. The item is in good condition overall for age with wear, nicks, chips, loss of paint, loss of wood and broken sliding doors. Please see photos as part of description. Antique Very Rare and Early Spanish/Portugese Delft Maiolica Dish Hare Circa 1600 -1650 Excavated A very rare and early Spanish or Portuguese maiolica dish painted in blue decorated in the centre with floral in which a jumping hare bordered by floral together with stylisted insects – – First half 17th Century – Diameter: 7,5 inch (190mm) – Very good condition, only some little chips/usual wear and a very little hole at the border (please see pictures) no cracks, hairlines or restorations – Found in the harbour of Amsterdam, a very rare found in this very good condition – Descended from own collection. Lovely Rare Stoneware Vase. It has a full Martin Brothers mark on its base as you can see in the pics. It is a lovely vase with incised geometric type decoration. Approximately 24 cm tall. It is in good condition. It has some wear and a firing mark on the base and rim. I believe that the rim has a restored hairline also. The photos give an accurate representation. EARLY 1811 RARE Antique FAMILY RECORD SAMPLER Liberty KLINGON Eberly Embroidery

1811 Family Record Sampler. Presented for your consideration is this early sampler. The sampler is all hand embroidered and features a floral border around the outside edge as well as the bottom. Bottom edge reads Liberty Klingon Sampler 1811. On the bottom half of the sampler are several initials representing different family members. Top half of the sampler features the alphabet in upper and lower case lettering and numbers 1-14. The sampler is framed in a thick wooden frame. Attached to the back of the sampler is information about the family that the sampler is about. This information states that the initials on the front and back represent the following family members: Ann Boyd, William Klingon, Liberty Klingon, Mary Alice Boyer, Bette Champion, G. Tripp and Thelma Tripp + Eberly + Harris. The sampler came out of the Eberly estate in Jackson, Michigan. This rare sampler would make a great addition to any ancestry or embroidery collection! It looks like there are letters missing from the lower case alphabet. These appear to be the only stitches missing on the sampler. Light fading from age. Mild wear on the frame. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the best details. Sampler alone measures 11 1/2 square. Entire piece measures 14 1/2 square.
