Rare Antique Wemyss Ware Small Black & White Pig marked Wemyss – Post 1930. A Rare Genuine Wemyss Pottery Pig. This splendid pottery pig is hand decorated by Joe Nekola with sponged black on white, hand painted mark’Wemyss’ to base in black. Very Good Condition- no chips, cracks or restoration but has usual crazing to glaze typical of Wemyss and a tiny bit of glaze toss to his right ear (see photos to aid description). Joseph (Joe) Nekola was the son of Karel Nekola and joined the pottery in 1899. He spent two years in Buffalo, USA from 1910-12 before returning to the pottery for a short period. His final stint was between 1928 and 1930, when the factory closed. Joe negotiated the sale of the moulds etc. To the Bovey Tracey pottery in Devon and moved there to continue producing Wemyss Ware.

Rare White Four Large Mermaids Bowl with Flower Frog. Art Deco Depression Glass Joseph Inwald Barolac. This is a rare large heavy thick White Frosted and Clear Mermaid bowl which has four Mermaids swimming around the bowl. This bowl is absolutely gorgeous in this co ndition with no chips or cracks. Each naked Mermaid with long hair is in a different swimming position. The rim of the bowl has waterlilies and lily pads which protrude a long way out of the bowl. The Mermaids are swimming through seaweed and the bowl sits on four feet. This Mermaid bowl was made in the Depression Era by Josef Inwald Barolac Factory in Bohemia, in what was Czechoslovakia but is now the Czech Republic. Some people get this bowl confused with. Lalique French Art Glass. Protrude out of the back of the bowl. There are no chips or cracks and this bowl is in very good condition for its age. This lovely Mermaid bowl is 12 & 3/8 inches or 31.5cm in diameter across the top of the bowl and it stands 5.5 inches or 14cm high. There are several air bubbles throughout the glass. This rare bowl has been in my collection for a long time, but now some one else can enjoy this lovely Mermaid bowl in their collection. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. I have never used this bowl, it has only been on display in my collection. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely. To protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.
Rare Pair of Chinese early Qing dynasty blue and white mini vases lidded. In perfect condition with only one kiln fault on the rim(as seen in the last photo).
There are two people leaning against a fence – two paths lead from them – one to what could be a church and another to a row of houses. In the background are mountains and trees. The people could be two farmers or a couple. Both have hats on, it appears. The whole scene is then circled by a floral and foliage display. All this on one small bowl – a true work of art to be treasured.
Opalescent Barolac Float Bowl Depression Era 1920/30’s Glass. The Opalescent bowl has water lily flowers and leaves. On the inside of the bowl it is signed ” Barolac ” in the glass. It is opalescent glass, it throws out lovely colours and are getting scarce in this condition.
This is a rare large heavy white frosted and clear art deco float bowl. These float bowls were made in the Depression Era 1920’s / 1930’s in what was Czechoslovakia between the two World Wars. This float bowl is between 80 and 100 years old.
