Standing about 11 is this precious very rare old steiff fully jointed rare teddy bear circa 1910 WIth ID in good used overall condition with mohair loss overall and some bald spots too as shown. Paw pads original but show some wear most especially Left foot pad and right hand pad as shown. Please see all photos carefully. Here I present this early rare bit worn early Steiff brown Teddy Baby bear. He is fully jointed, head, arms and legs and has glass eyes. He wears a bell on leather cord around his neck, no Id. Good used vintage condition, with obvious signs age and wear to foot pads. Felt missing from one so cardboard piece affixed there, felt on other but in poor condition as shown. Mohair decent bit of thinning and matting but displays well still. Green spot on left hand pad. Tiny hole on right hand pad. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of my description. Billy is a wonderful early kapok stuffed Steiff Apricot cone nosed teddy bear c1904/5 measuring 12 with around 90% of his apricot mohair remaining. He actually looks more like a possum than a teddy bear with his pointy cone nose. Billy does have some repairs including a glued insert to his nose and also repairs to both his ankles (please see pics). All pads have been recovered, as well as some other old repairs and small tears at the neck joint. However he has such a sweet endearing expression with ears set low down on the side of his head. Here I present this early very rare Steiff brown open happy mouth Teddy Baby bear. He is fully jointed, head, arms and legs and has glass eyes. He wears a bell and original leather collar around his neck, teddy baby chest tag though bit worn still present! Also old long f button in ear! Very Good used vintage antique condition, with only minor signs age and wear for age. Paw pads minor soiling, nice Mohair covering still with some thinning throughout and a few patches missing Mohair bear legs especially. A rare size and very rare find in this condition and with 2 firms ID still too! Please view all photos carefully as they are part of my description. Stands great on his own! Rare & early Uncle Remus teddy bear

Rare & early Uncle Remus teddy bear. This hunky boy measures just shy of 17 and is quite the beefcake! He has his original deep set reverse painted glass eyes. His extremely long curved arms move freely and are thick and chunky. Original felt pads on all paws. Hand pads have beautifully done darning and one small area at the foot pad seam has this lovely darning as well. Five claws on feet and some have popped on hands. All joints move freely and I see no repairs at all. He wears a gorgeous silk handmade collar. He has a fabulous profile and a look like no other with a very nice covering of mohair. Uncle Remus bears were only made for two years, 1906 and 1907. Joel Chandler Harris, the author of the Uncle Remus stories, died in 1908. Following his death, these bears were no longer marketed.
