Extremely rare early black mohair teddy bear c1910

Mr Blackwatch is a wonderful very rare German antique black mohair teddy bear measuring approx 18 c1912 This lovely old boy has around 65% of his short pile black mohair remaining with his black shoe button eyes and black stitched nose, there’s a very old repair of dark blue felt under one of his shoe button eyes, there are a few small repairs here and there nothing serious you would expect from a bear especially having black mohair. His paws and pads have been professionally recovered with high quality wool felt the originals or what is left of them are still underneath. Mr Blackwatch is stuffed with wood wool with a slightly slumpy head where the wood wool has broken down over the years. Black bears were especially popular and bought as memorial bears when the Titanic sank. These were made by several prominent companies! Baxter – Early RARE SIGNED 1900’s Steiff C1908 Teddy Bear Antique Old FF BUTTON. Introducing Baxter – I love him! He dates to around 1908 and was made by Steiff. He is fully jointed, stuffed with woodwool and stands around 16.5inches tall from toe to ear tip! He really is such a joyous bear!!!! He retains his original boot button eyes, felt pads, original facial and claw stitching. He also retains his original burnt orange ribbon and ff button to his ear! Is also extra special as during the 1980’s his owner took him to get his foot autographed by Steiff Family members; Hans-Otto Steiff (who was president of Steiff, and his great grand-aunt was Margarete Steiff) and his wife Birgit Eitle Steiff! Baxter is covered in lots of fluffy blonde mohair with long limbs and a hump. He has a really friendly smiley face and would be an extra special addition for any antique bear collector. It feels a privilege to hold such a wonderful bear who is over a century old!!!! He is photographed here with his Teddy Baby friends and his best friend 1930’s Hoggle the brown steiff, who are all looking for homes. Gracie FURRY Rare Early English 1910/20s OMEGA Teddy Bear – Hump Old Antique. I honestly adore this bear! If you love very old English teds who are very furry with lots of beautiful features including painted back glass eyes and hump then you’ll love Gracie! Gracie dates to 1910-20s and was made by Omega! She stands around 21inches tall from her ear tip to toe, is fully jointed, and well stuffed with woodwool! Omega bears are quite rare, which is why Gracie is so special as she’s in wonderful condition with hardly any wear except a little light gentle darning above her original nose stitching! She is covered in bountiful soft blonde mohair, has a fantastic hump, original pads in excellent condition (other than one handpaw which displays the pretty underpad material). She has card lined feet, stitched facial features and beautiful original shiny painted back glass eyes. Gracie is dressed in an antique cotton lace dress with ribbon bracelet and feels so wonderful to hold, she’s one of my favourite bears! I have confidence in saying she will quickly become a firm favourite in your hug, and she’s looking forward to making happy memories in her new home.. Here I present this early rare bit worn early Steiff brown Teddy Baby bear. He is fully jointed, head, arms and legs and has glass eyes. He wears a bell on leather cord around his neck, no Id. Good used vintage condition, with obvious signs age and wear to foot pads. Felt missing from one so cardboard piece affixed there, felt on other but in poor condition as shown. Mohair decent bit of thinning and matting but displays well still. Green spot on left hand pad. Tiny hole on right hand pad. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of my description. RARE Early Antique 12 Jointed Teddy Bear Hump Back Gold Mohair Growler Box

This all-original antique 12 high teddy bear has arms, legs and a head that move. The bear has gold mohair and straw stuffing. It is from 1910 or earlier. The eyes are amber glass with black pupils; black yarn defines the nose, mouth and paws. There is a hump on the upper back of the neck which indicates it was made 1910 or earlier, and a growler box which no longer works. The paw pads are made of a pinkish felt. The bear still moves perfectly and can hold poses. The fur is thin in a few spots. The right paw is damaged: the pink pad is worn through so the straw shows and the black yarn is frayed in spots.
