Large silver coronation spoon Edward VII, 1902. Original box and booklet. The spoon was presented to the Moderator of the Church of Scotland, James Curdie Russell, in 1902 to celebrate the coronation of King Edward VII. James Curdie Russell is one of the few people who attended the coronation of Edward VII. A church moderator is a senior official in some Presbyterian and Reformed churches. England, London, Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd workshop, 1902. Walking Lion confirms that the item is made in England from 925 sterling silver. “Leopard’s Head” is the hallmark of the London Assay Office. A very nice Heintz polychromed landscape vase in excellent condition with no damage or repairs, circa 1905. It measures 7 1/2″ high x 2 1/2″ diameter. The original brown felt has not been removed from the base, but. Check the photos for condition. A very rare Colibri pocket lighter that is ideal for restoration as it is complete. Made of Sterling Silver it features a pen style design and wheel flint action. Full markings as shown. Ideal for restoration as would only require stripping, the silver straight ink and a good clean. When complete this is a highly collectible rare lighter of significant value. Non smoking house and stored in dark and dry conditions. I have collected many items over the years and it is now time to let some go as well as finally have room in an overflowing loft. A rare early Georgian English antique solid sterling silver marrow scoop. It is hallmarked for London 1766 with the makers mark being that of James Tookey. It has been made well and engraved with a crest similar to that used by the Nicholl family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. 8.75 inches (22cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.1cm) wide and weighs 50 grams. A rare quality piece. A Very Early & Rare Omani Sterling Neck-piece worn with Shakba Antique Textile

An exceptionally Early example of an Omani silver Neck-piece made from woven goat leather straps and silver appliqués (najm) – Worn by Bedouin women in combination with the Shabka. Origin: Northern and Central Oman (Bedouin). It is worn across the top of the shoulders and is secured at the front by two long brown cotton cords hanging from the ends of the collar. This type of collar is usually worn with a similarly decorated leather head-dress by the Bedouin women of northern Oman. Probably from Bidiyah and areas in the Wahiba Sands. Small areas (Patches) of light condition issues (Losses, rubbing, missing silver dome pieces) – an early example so some condition issues as to be expected. Rare Early 1768 French Antique Solid Sterling Silver Wine Taster Barware

A very rare early French antique solid sterling silver wine taster. It is hallmarked with the French charge and discharge marks for 1768 – 1774, pre French Revolution. It has been superbly made having a scroll handle and engraved initials. It is in good condition for its age being free from splits and repairs, there are a few slight dinks to the raised decoration and one tiny pin hole – see final photo (worth getting sorted on such a rare piece). It is nice and clean inside. 4 inches (10cm) wide including the handle by 3.25 inches (8cm) excluding it by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall to the top of the handle and and weighs 84 grams.
