Rare Large Vintage Amphora Porcelain Elephant. Signed on base Czechoslovakia. These large Amphora Elephant figures are very rare & usually around 3 times the price of this one I have listed. I have included in the photos 2 other old listings of the same type of figure some years ago. Grab a rare bargain. This piece has a unnoticeable hairline crack repair on the left ear at the front and there is a very small sliver of porcelain missing behind the same ear. Zoom in any photos of the left ear to view, not noticeable when on display. Both repairs are not noticeable until pointed out & viewed very close. A very beautiful decorative Antique figurine. This piece is fresh off my own sideboard, a very reluctant sale due to downsizing furniture? This item is in the category “Pottery, Ceramics & Glass\Decorative Pottery, Ceramics & Glass\Figurines”. A Fabulous 1920’s Antique Red Vase. Collectors of Consolidated / Phoenix Glassware know that red pieces are very rare and desirable! This wonderful Bittersweet Vase is believed to be the work of Reuben Haley as part of the much sought-after Martele Line. It measures about 9-5/8″ tall and 5-1/4″ wide. The opening is about 3-1/4 wide. My grandmother was a well-known life-long antique glass collector here in Minnesota. In the 1970’s, she gave this vase to my mother, who is also an antique glass collector. The color is a deep ruby red or pigeon blood color. There are bubbles inside the glass, and a few other manufacturing inconsistencies, which attest to the age and authenticity of this piece. There is very minor wear and a couple tiny pinpricks along the rim, from years of careful enjoyment. Nothing interferes with the beauty of this piece. An essential item for a serious collector. Scarce Early Minton Large Tureen with Lid Antique 1864 – Cameo -Diamond Reg Mark. A very rare piece by Minton. The Cameo pattern decorates the border. This item has been with the same family for 80-100 years. It was part of a 12 piece dinner set originally. Now however, this tureen, lid and oval platter (separate listing) are the only items left. In very good condition. The addition of the diamond registration mark dates the set registration as 12th September 1864. This however does not mean it was the date the item was produced, this could have been produced much earlier. Impressed with Minton over the Backstamp. There is a further mark of C515 and a hand painted’m’ to underside base near edge. There are some areas of age, see photos, of pitted marks. No chips or significant cracks as far as I can see, but please be aware of its age, use and fragility. This is for decoration/display or collectors piece only. Not suitable for food use. This is a delightful item in the antique world of English pottery. Measures approximately 25cm length x 20cm width x 16cm height. This may differ slightly as it has been packed for safety before measuring. Many thanks for looking. 7 5/8 inch tall. Amber-colored cylin der-shaped antique patent’quack’ bottle that o riginally contained a HEROIN LACED medicine. This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand B lown I nto M old bottle (BIM) with a tooled top, dating it back to the 1800’s. Bottle embossed : ” Glyco – Heroin /’SMITH’ “. Base of bottle embossed : MARTIN H. / CHEMISTS / NEW YORK. Condition : Bottle has some age related stain (patina) and wear. NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc. Age : An ORIGINAL ANTIQUE hand-blown bottle (Blown-In-Mold = BIM) with a tooled-top, ca. T hese bottle contained a patent medicine and one of the main ingredients in it was Heroin, Glyico Heroin. Heroin was used over a century ago as an ingredient in cough syrup, to suppress the cough and suppressing the discomfort that is associated with it. Yet it did much more than that as patients came to find out that they kept using the syrup long after the cough was gone. Heroin is one of the most addictive substances known to mankind. This is one of the very few antique bottles that actually has the word ” HEROIN ” embossed in the glass which makes it quite appealing. It is not a commonly found bottle and these are getting increasingly hard to f ind , especially in good condition, check it out! ALL BUTTONS SENT OUT OF THE UNITED STATES MUST BE INSURED….. SIZE: 1 AND 11/16 INCHES. CONDITION: VERY GOOD CONDITION… THIS BUTTON IS RARE. THERE ARE REPRODUCTIONS OF THE GLASS PIECE BUT THE COLORS ARE TOTALLY DIFFERENT. THIS ONE IS A GOLD COLOR WITH PINK HUES. IT’S NOT CARNIVAL GLASS, AND IT’S NOT SPRAYED ON. WHEN YOU TURN THE GLASS DIFFERENT WAYS, YOU GET MORE PINK. AND OTHER WAYS IT’S GOLD WITH PINK AT THE TOP. I TESTED IT WITH SIMI CHROME AND IT DOES TEST POSITIVE FOR BAKELITE. I BELIEVE THIS IS AFTER 1920. I KNOW IT LOOKS LIKE IT’S MISSING A STUD, BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THE BACK PICTURE YOU CAN SEE THE PROPER AMOUNT OF DRILL HOLES FOR EACH STUD. THESE ALSO COME IN A GORGEOUS BLUE / PURPLE COMBINATION IF YOU ARE EVER LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND ONE. NO CHIPS OR CRACKS. THE LINE AT THE BOTTOM IS PART OF THE PATTERN. THIS BUTTON REALLY GLOWS!
