Visit our shop here. An Antique German Handmade’Greiner’ Marble. Description: This very collectible and interesting early antique marble was handmade between 1850 and 1860. It has a wide opaque white swirl that leads around the marble in a long tail, giving a planetary, swirling effect of molten action. Finished with a beautifully well crafted faceted pontil, in the typical early Greiner style. Type: Greiner marbles are among the earliest type of handmade German glass marbles, from an important and formative period in the technical history of marble making – consequently these marbles are often referred to as as’transitional’ marbles. They were produced during a short period of time in Thuringia, Germany; before the cane and rod types. Greiner marbles (which were previously erroneously often known as Grenier) are highly sought after by collectors and marble historians alike. They were handmade by the Greiner family using a hand-gathered technique of swirling and forming the marble. All Greiner marbles are finished with a finely crafted single ground faceted pontil: they have beautiful, sophisticated colours, and a planetary, spontaneous abstraction of design. 82” or 13/16” inch. Offering this sweet antique wood pantry box. Measures 10.5″ D x 6″ T. This pantry has thick wood walls with the best patina and natural wear. Constructed with early nails. (Bottom nail is missing) Has an original dark green paint with the best surface. In some areas looks almost like a worn black paint. Has minor imperfection about an inch as seen in pic 7 on the side but nothing major nor anything loose with this piece. Has a rare signed bottom, I. Displays beautifully as is or with a stack as seen. Listing for this pantry only. Expect minor imperfection and abrasions consistent with age and use.

Extremely Rare Large Green Uranium Glass Cambridge Melon Boy from the Depression Era 1920/30’s. This is a large heavy Uranium Glass Melon Boy Figurine with a built in flower frog. It was made by the Cambridge Glass Company in the Depression Era. This figural flower frog is almost 100 years old. Some call it a Water Melon Boy because he has a melon between his legs and he is holding a bowl with a pattern around the bowl. The chubby boy is standing naked. He is absolutely gorgeous in this condition. There are air bubbles and smooth mould lines from the glass making process typical for glass made in the Depression Era. There is one small crack near one of the flower holes of the built in Flower frog. There is one small flat smooth chip near one of the flower holes and another two small nibbles near two other flower holes. All these are on the outside edge of the flower frog. There are no cracks in the Figurine itself. The figurine stands almost 10 inches. The flower frog measures 5.5 inches. Across at the bottom. He flower frog is 1.5 inches. It weighs 2.3 kgs or just over 5 pounds. The figurine is made of thick glass and is very heavy. This rare Melon Boy has been in my collection for a long time, but now some one else can enjoy him. Don’t come up in any colour. The uranium colour is very very scarce. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. Some of the photos have been taken under a black light so you can see how it glows like crazy. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely green uranium glass. Melon Boy figurine flower frog. Rare Uranium Green Arabella Lady. Float Bowl Art Deco Depression Era 1920/30s. This is a rare Uranium Green art deco Arabella Lady Figurine in a Uranium Green frosted flower frog in a float bowl. Lady Figurine is another nice example from August Walther & Sohne Glass made in Germany in between the two world wars. The Lady figurine is just over 7 inches or 18cm high. There is one tiny nibble on the inside of the bottom of the figurine, otherwise. The flower frog is 4.75 inches or 12cm across the top and 3 inches or 7.5cm across the bottom of the frog. There is one tiny nibble on the inside of the bottom of the flower frog otherwise it is in good condition. The float bowl is very unusual and has a nice pattern of leaves around the bowl. The bowl is 12 inches or 30cm in diameter. The bottom foot of the bowl has 9 sides and. There is a smooth mould line in the bottom of the bowl but it is not a crack or damage, are no chips, cracks or repairs on the bowl or the foot and the bowl is in. The stand has a very unusual 9 sided pattern that the bowl fits into. The stand is 5 & 1/2 inches or 14cm in diameter at the top of the stand. The bottom of the stand is 7. There are a couple of small flat chips on the very bottom of the stand that you can’t see when it is on display. The stand is in. It is a good quality figurine and float bowl and is heavy when combined and on display. These were made in the Depression era 1920’s and 1930’s and are nearly 100 years old. There are join lines and air bubbles in the glass which is typical for the glass making process in the era it was made and they are not damage. The figurine, frog and the bowl all glow strong under a UV or black light. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and good condition of the whole float bowl. This float bowl has only been displayed as I don’t put water in my float bowls. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely green uranium Arabella. To protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.

Rare Uranium Green Clear & Frosted Peter Pan Float Bowl. (Aufsatz Flotenspieler) August Walther and Sohne Germany Depression Era 2920/30s. This is an very rare large heavy Green Uranium clear and frosted art deco float bowl. This float bowl is called the Peter Pan and Tinker bell float bowl set. This set is absolutely gorgeous in this condition. The Peter Pan Figurine and the block are both clear. This float bowl was made in the Depression Era 1920’s / 1930’s in Dresden, Germany between the two World Wars. This float bowl is 80 or 90 years old. The Peter Pan figurine stands 9.5 inches or 24cm high without the flower block. The foot of the Peter Pan is 5.5 inches or 14cm in diameter. There are no chips or cracks and the Peter Pan Figurine is in good condition. This Peter Pan has the rare stripped tunic not the plain tunic version. This rare float bowl has been in my collection for a long time, but now some one else can enjoy this lovely float bowl in their collection. The bowl has water lilies and lily pads which protrude out of the glass on the back of the bowl and are frosted or acid etched. The inside of the bowl is clear and it looks wonderful. The bowl measures 13.5 inches or 34cm in diameter and 2.5 inches or 6.5cms high. There are no chips, cracks or repairs anywhere on the bowl and it is in very good condition for its age. The flower block measures 6 inches or 15cm in diameter. There are no chips, cracks or repairs anywhere on the flower block. There are little air bubbles in the glass in some of the pieces from when they were made which is typical for the manufacturing process for this era. When the parts are assembled and on display it is a very large heavy float bowl. Don’t expect this Peter Pan float bowl to be brand new, it is 80 or 90 years old and in very good condition for its age, as you can see in the photos. So you can expect to have the few little imperfections from when it was made. These bowls with a complete float bowl don’t come up in the Uranium Green colour very often, they are very scarce. You see the odd Peter Pan or Block but it’s rarely in a complete float bowl set any more. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition and how it glows under a black or UV light. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely frosted Uranium Green Peter Pan Float Bowl to protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.
