This fabulous pair of lidded serving dishes or tureens are a beautiful example of John Maddock & Son’s antique Ironstone kitchen & tableware. Created in the mid to late 19th Century, these stunning ivoryware dishes effortlessly combine elegance and practicality. With their stunning creamy colour and smooth finish, subtle rounded handle emerging fluidly from each side, as well as the gorgeous sculpted Artichoke finial atop each lid, they epitomise the old addage, less is more. A perfect addition to any kitchen dresser. Each Dish is: 13cm in height with lid on, 7cm without lid on, 25cm in length and 22cm in width, and the opening has a diameter of 19cm. Depth is 6.5cm. Condition is’Used’ – Good vintage condition with only minor wear commensurate with age such as very tiny pin prick marks to finish.
