Metal trim and braces on all corners and around the top 3. Very rare little item 5. Wood is all hand planed, you can see some of the plane marks 5. Little brass disc under all the tiny nails 6. Top is made out of 5 small pieces to create the dome 7. Small stopper in the back to prevent the top from falling back 8. Plane and chisel marks on all side 9. VERY NICE, early pair of antique eye-glasses measuring approximately 4.5″ across the front with the bow length measuring 4-1/8″ unextended x 6 extended. I believe this to be from the 1700’s. Just come off an Old farm in Lancaster county Pennsylvania. It looks good for what it is and it should still be in working order everything seems nice and sturdy. RARE ANTIQUE EARLY 1900’S COLONIAL BRASS ELECTRIC FAN 12 BRASS BLADE AND CAGE. The fan was originally built to be used with direct current that was available in some parts if the US in the early 1900s but the motor burned up prior to my ownership. I replaced the motor and switch with a 110 volt model which makes it user friendly. The finish on the Colonial is bare metal that was coated with linseed oil and baked, several original parts were replaced with brass. The fan is a front oscillator that runs well on all three distinct speeds.
