Nice earlier thickly applied cobalt blue five-claw dragon. Dates to early 20th century, Late Qing or Republic. Approximately 9 (23cm) diameter. Excellent condition with no chips or hairlines. This is an incredibly rare Chinese antique. This exquisite, silver gilt, filigree brooch, made from an antique Chinese fingernail guard or protector, which were worn by high status women to protect their fingernails, is in excellent condition. It is beautifully crafted and decorated with gemstones and enamel flowers and petals and is stamped silver on the back. It measures 8.5cm in length and weighs 15.5g.

These Candlesticks are in Louis XV style with two part construction. The turnings on the base and the shaft are very similar but ever so slightly different, the most noticeable being the bobeche on the one candlestick. The candlesticks appear to be paktong which might mean they were made in China for export. Condition: Heavy surface patina with some wax. Near pair not identical. Repair to the neck of the stick with a bobeche. Height 10 Inches 25.5 cm. Width 5 3/8 Inches 13.7 cm. Depth 5 3/8 Inches 13.7 cm.
