Rare Early Antique Iron Stone China Knowles Taylor and Knowles porcelain Tea pot with metal lid. In excellent original condition rare victorian era tea pot, with attached flip Lid. Porcelain on the outside does not have any any cracks in the paint, as you can see in the photo. It is in excellent used condition, the lid has lost the outside silver finish. The inside of the lid has a silver finish. There is a very small chip on the tip of the spout, please see all photos. And wear to the gold trace. Very rare 23 Sophia Smith hairstyle China doll by Kestner. Dates from the early 1850s. She has an antique body and is wearing an antique coat dress, which is roughly from the same period within about 20 years. Please know that there is a repair to one side of her shoulderplate. Thankfully, this does not affect her beautiful face. Her dress is in remarkably good condition for the age. I love the fabric and the details. It lacks enclosures and needs to be pinned. Her body does not have any leakage. It is antique but not original to the head. Definitely appropriate and fits her well. Very Rare 7.75 1840s Pink Tint China Doll On Articulated Wooden Body Early Bun

Amazing example of an early 1840s china doll on wooden body. She measures about 7.75 tall. You will get the clothes that she came in, which I carefully removed with a seam ripper. They were not in good condition, so I did not feel badly about taking them off to inspect her body. Her clothing appears a little later than she is from, probably from the late 19 century. I have not seen any damage to her China. On the back of her shoulderplate near the bottom, it appears that part of it is not completely glazed and is a little rougher. I dont think this is damage, but in original flaw. This is the first of this kind of doll Ive had with a China head, and her arms at the top where they meet the shoulder feel a little loose. Perhaps this is the way they were made. It does appear like there is part of the wood missing from her left buttock area, although this is not super noticeable. Antique vintage gold metal lace braid ribbon tape trim. Rare mysterious early china boy doll Meissen? For the knowing collector. This for sure very early rare boy is giving some enigma of it´s maker. Having the crossed swords inside it´s head what could attribute him to Dornheim, Koch & Fischer. Dornheim, Koch & Fischer was a small German doll head maker wellknown for it´s high quality and very rare. Meissen would be a little sensation. I leave it to the knowing collector to evaluate. The head is fine molded and painted. Blue expressive eyes with red line. Fine painted and molded moth giving the impression of a slight smiling. Unfortunately a piece of shoulder is brocken off, a tiny part is missing. A nearly not to see hairline crack on the neck runs up to the hairdo on the back. Early great leatherbody in great condition for age with fine fingers and wasp waist. Marks and holes where the head was attached shows that the head allways originally has been attached to this body. However this is a rare early china doll for the appreciative collector of early china dolls. Size Head: 4.1/2 – 11.5 cm. Size Body: 14 – 35 cm. Size Head + Body: 17-1/4 – 44 cm. Condition: with normal signs due to age, minimal disparitys or fails can be found caused to natural of item. More Arms – Legs – Heads – Eyes – on request. Original – not new or repainted.
