Antique Cast Iron Cranes / wading bird. Early 20th Century and quite possibly late 19th. They have their original paint. Each one measures 27 inches and 24 inches high with the bases being approximately 10 inches at the widest point. They are absolutely gorgeous and will look amazing in flowerbeds or around a pond. Up for sale is an extremely rare antique solid cast iron figural doorstop made the second half of the 19th century. The stop is in the form of an armed Scottish soldier standing on a platform base with his hand propped on the rock background. It’s made of very thick iron, is extremely heavy, and has acquired a lovely patina from age. The casting is an exceedingly rare form.
