Antique George II Silver Bullet Teapot, London 1734. A rare George II silver bullet teapot made in London 1734. The plain body standing on spreading circular foot. With carved wooden handle and slim cast spout. Engraved to lid and surrounds with a shell motifs. Hallmarked to underside for Michael Boult, London 1734. Further marks, lion passant and maker’s mark, to underside of lid. An early piece from a rare maker. In antique condition, with some issues. Signs that engravings to sides have been removed. There is solder visible to the interior on one side. Hinge is loose and has probably been repaired. There is rubbing to the engraving. Wear, with dings and extensive scratches throughout. Hallmarks to lid and quite worn. 21.5 cm (including handle). 13.5 cm (including handle).
