A striking early 20th Century Art Deco French opalescent glass vase with excellent OPALESCENT Pale sky blue colour with grey patina and fine hand finished detail, signed R Lalique. This rare and vintage vase is a beautiful addition to any collection. The main feature is the superb, opalescence of the blue vase made in double cased opalescent glass. Note: The Massif de l’Esterel is a low mountain range on the coast of the Mediterranean in SE France having a high elevation of around 2000 feet. The most well known cities adjoining the range are the French Riviera (Côte d’Azur) cities of Cannes on the east and Saint-Raphaël on the west that are connected to each other by the coast road Corniche d’Or.
