Rare Antique Early 19th Century Wooden Treen Paddle / Bat Shaped Straw Splitter

Is this rare straw splitter. Used to split straw for plaiting. Dates to the early part of the 19th century. Made from a dark wood with five holes for cutting. All 5 holes would have originally had fins to cut the straw into different thicknesses. This splitter can split straw into 3, 4, 5 and 6 strands. The fins are missing from one of the holes.
