Antique 1800’s Early American Cast Iron Horse Head Hitching Post. This rare style is 14 tall and weighs 25 pounds. Its a 3 diameter post. We see no foundry marks. Cast in massively thick iron (over 25 pounds) this 19th century horse head is in very good condition for sitting outside for well over 100 years. Bottom edge is 36 inches. Sleeve is approximately 16 inches. Length is 16 inches. I have made a few small repairs to places where the crochet threading opened, but they are not at all noticeable. Wonderful condition considering its age. Mannequin bust is 34 inches, waist is 24. M ANTIQUE DOMED STAKING SET – EARLY 1900S – RARE. The approx age of this is the early 1900’s. A staking set is essential for effective watch and clock repairs. Sets were a major capital item for any jeweller and early sets had glass domes to show them off in the shop. No makers marks on this piece but parts are marked D. M which is like a patent for old germany pieces. The set has 99 punches and 24 stakes together with the base and punch extractions tool and is complete with glass dome. This set also comes with a colonial Clock Oiling Tool along with instruction on how to use it. To see a complete set with the dome is very rare. The revolving base is a type of hardwood. This is a very rare Original 1900s powder calendars lithograph. This Was pulled out of a barn that was built in 1820 and is an as seen as found condition please look at pictures for details. Check out the amazing scene where a father or grandfather is teaching this boy how to hunt. I believe this is called the lesson it is a great looking lithograph and is completely original. Colors on the actual lithograph are absolutely amazing and in great condition there are a couple of spots where it seems to want to tear and some slight tears on the side left bottom some spotting but overall I would say this is really nice condition for the age of the item a rarity. You just dont see these come up for sale. Dont let this slip in to someone elses hands.
