Antique early Gunthermann duck toy clockwork wind up German rare collectible Mechanism: wind up manual, not working. Dimensions: 185 mm (L) x 110 mm (H) x 90 mm (W). The toy is in good condition for its age, it is over 100 years old. The mechanism is not working. It has been repaired during time, as you can see from the pictures, the two main pieces of the body are glued with pewter. The left wheel is dented. The body has a dent under neck on the left side (picture 5) and a crack on the right side (picture 6). It is an antique toy, children played with it, as you can see the paint is missing on some areas and it is faded. It was made in Germany, by the company Gunthermann. It is not as famous as Lehmann, but its toys are harder to find. It is a rare toy, for collectors. If you have any reservations please contact me for clarification. RARE Antique PA GERMAN Early 19th C TIN Punch Decorated SPICE BOX Folk Art- This is a beautifully crafted early tinware spice box- these early boxes are very hard to find. There are some very nice decorative elements such as the raised lines around the box, really nicely made loop pull and the handmade hinge attachments which attach the lid to the bottom of the box, as well as the wonderfully done punch decorated design on the lid of the box and the nicely done solder work. We have found very few similar to this one in over 30 years of collecting. It has excellent naturally darkened patina and is in good to very good antique condition- it shows the natural oxidation of tin, and the solder is is good condition. It is hard to find this type of untouched/uncleaned original aged surface patina. The spice box measures approximately 3.5 in height to to top of lid. It is approx 7″ wide and approx 4.75″ in depth. RARE EARLY ANTIQUE C1830 FRENCH PARIS PORCELAIN MINIATURE PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE. Offered for your consideration is this charming, rare antique miniature Paris porcelain scent bottle dating circa 1830 and measuring approx. 3.7 cm in length. This laydown bottle has pink and green body with gilt outlines and an oval cartouche at the front in the centre with the handwritten words “A l’amitie'” written in scroll on a white ground. The bottle has a silver gilt screw lid with a fixed bale at the top so that it could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bale has a tiny French hallmark. This fine Palais Royal souvenir scent bottle would have been given to a sweetheart as a token of love or friendship and is offered in exceptionally good condition with no flaws noted and is a superb antique miniature perfume bottle for the discerning collector.
