Perfect for your holiday table, rare set of 4 early Gorham sterling silver candlesticks, not cement weighted. Each 7 tall in classic column shape. Excellent condition, no dents. Hallmarked for Gorham and marked sterling on outer base. Open bases up to bottoms of columns. Bottoms of candle cups are open and you can see some material down inside partially filling columns. Looks to be accumulated old wax and/or some sort of pitch, but not the solid cement filling seen on later candlesticks. Rare Adolf Knoch sewing machine from the early 1900’s. Beautiful machine with mother of pearl inlay. Machine turns but is very stiff. It comes with shuttle and a few bobbins. The lock on the lid is broken and needs to be replaced. That is if you want to use it of course. Nothing has been done to the machine. No cleaning, oiling or waxing or anything else. It was left as found. It can be turned into a true beauty. The machine is in complete , original untouched and unrestored condition. Check out my other items. Possibly Steiff, but there is no indicator of there having been a button or tag. During the turn of the century. There were many soft toy manufacturers based in Nuremberg and. Josef Deuerlein, Martin Winterbauer, Gebr. Bing, and Schreyer & Co. Boot button eyes are clear and intact. Mohair is thinning overall. One seam under front right leg has been hand stitched.
