Extremely rare & antique Gray telephone pay station or wall payphone. Ultra rare model almost impossible to find. This is an early model coin telephone a’post-pay’ model, which meant that the operator would make the connection for you and then ask you to deposit the coins. Telephone includes integrated bells ring. Specifically made for the Argentinian market. With music box on top for waiting call (Jingle Bells theme – working – it seems to be factory made). Wooden stand to show it. As you can see on pictures, circuit and mechanical parts are complete, however telephone is untested. Key of coin box is not included. Original antique condition (i prefer do not restore it to preserve its atique genuine condition), so it shows signals of use. Tall (excluding stand): 44 centimeters. Wide of bell rings case: 16 centimeters. Wide of body telephone (excluding bell rings case): 12 centimeters. All defects not mentioned but visible in the pictures will be considered as described. Kellogg Grabaphone Early Rare Dial Cradle Restored Antique Telephone Circa 1920

Rare Kellogg Switchboard & Supply Co very early dial desk cradle telephone. This was the earliest dial desk cradle telephone built in this country. It was inspired by French design. The handset, cradle and dial have been newly re plated with nickel just like it was originally. The body was blasted, primed and painted with several coats of automotive spray lacquer. The telephone is connected to a Kellogg wood subset (ringer box) with exposed nickel bells. The subset can be on desk or mounted on wall. The cloth cords are new. The modular line cord can be plugged into a modern outlet found in most all homes. Most Grab-A-Phones were non dial and produced in large numbers. Few dial types were produced. Kellogg quickly switched to simpler and much less expensive cradle phones. I rarely find one of these and the restoration is quite tedious and time consuming. The results are outstanding. Very rare Skeleton Telephone m anufactured by the English Peel Conner Telephone Works P. W around year 1905. It is one of the most beautiful type of skeleton telephone. The telephone had been restored to the original factory condition. Most brass parts had been re-nickel plated or polished. The handset rattlesnake 4 cloth cord is in good condition as well as the rattlesnake 6 way line cloth cord. Legs floral transfer are in great original condition.
