Antique Early Cuno & Otto Dressel Doll. She is an early Cuno & Otto Dressel. They were the first makers of papier mache dolls in the early 1800s. The eyebrows might have been retouched at some time. She has had a band new mohair wig as hers was beyond repair. Her face is in excellent condition no cracks to wax. Her body is leather and has been patched in leather in a couple of places but good solid mends. Good condition for age. Her clothes are all vintage from the dress and cape to her underwear with a vintage cameo added to brighten. A truly remarkable find?
