This is from my own collection, it’s a great piece the base is very unusual , the blacksmith has repurposed a ancient scrap horseshoe if you look closely , it’s not unusual for bases to be old turned wood pieces repurposed but I have never seen this done before, it is genuine and untouched and unchanged a good size 10.25 inches high , a very nice piece for your collection. A Fine Rare Primitive Hearth Pricket Candlestand Circa 1700 Two Foot. This is a super period piece wrought iron with a copper or maybe brass drip pan which is 11.5 inches wide, the drip pan is a wonderful verdigris colour, the wrought iron though corroded is good and strong, it does not surprisingly lean a bit one way, the listing is for the pricket stand nothing else in the pictures, I would suggest this is circa 1700.
