A lovely example of the skill of the Wemyss artists. This one might have been painted by Karol Necola. He died in 1915 and Edwin Sandland became the head artist. In 1928 Karols son Joe Necola took over before bringing the whole pottery down here in Devon The design is a soft delicate pink rose design and could have been painted by any one of these three. The base is signed Wemyss and the Wemyss mark is impressed, which tells us that this piece is. Pre 1930, the year they moved from Fife to Devon. They are 18cm tall.
