This is a gorgeous and VERY, VERY RARE. Fenton Glass made, Diamond Optic White Opalescent. That was Made for the Edward P. To be used by them, in making lamp bases. This beautiful Fenton special order, white opalescent bottle has a Fenton Factory-made indent’hole’ on the bottom center of the bottle-and seen in the pics-that was put there purposely, as that is where the glass would have been’popped through’ where a lamp pole would have been inserted. The clear applied handle is what was known as’Nicked Handle’ aka:’Bamboo Handle’. There is NO stopper. Because these were never meant to be used as bottles. As other Fenton cruet/bottles were. Because lamps need no stoppers. The bottle stands at, 5.5 high and is 4. In diameter at the widest area. This bottle was never even used for a lamp. I also have another UNUSED, Fenton, Cameo Opalescent Hobnail bottle, that was made for them as well-where the bottom-side hole was punched through where a cord would have been inserted.
