Rare and very collectable Antique Early George III Sterling Solid Silver Basting, Gravy or Hash Spoon, Fully Hallmarked For London 1781, making this a 241 Year old Antique Treasure. The Basting Spoon 28cm/just over11 inches Long, and weighs 86gms, it is of the Old English bright cut Pattern, it is mongrammed to the handle very nicely with the letters E. K and has bit of bright cut decoration, please look at the pictures to see for yourself although the spoon is big it has a very elegant feel to it. The Hallmarks are very rubbed but the Leopards Head the Lion Passant and the date letter F can be made out, the makers mark is too rubbed to be identified, the spoon is made of a good gauge of silver. The condition is good Antique condition for a spoon that is 241 years old no dink’s dents or repairs, surface scratches commensurate with age. A VERY COLLECTABLE SOLID SILVER BASTING SPOON. A one-off chance in a lifetime to own some pure British History. 1x An Early Victorian Oak and Leather Library armchair by Holland & Sons Ex Whitehall chair. Its stamped Holland & Sons and VR made by Holland and Sons. Royal warrant holders rare early chair seldom seen outside Museums and Stately Homes. The size is 86cm high back 61cm wide at arms 72.5cm hight of arms. 62cm depth 48cm seat height the chair it got brass castor wheels. Scrolled armrests curved and dished tablet top rail on baluster tapering front legs. And square splayed back legs terminating in brass cappings and castors. The chair has the Holland & Sons stamp also a Journeyman stamp of L. And the later FCO ex-security alarm label fixed to the underside of the frame. Condition: has old rubs to the legs from age and use being as it’s from 1840s age. The seats have been reupholstered in black real leather in the past. And great condition real amazing rare designer antique chair. That were ex Whitehall Foreign & Commonwealth Office FCO pieces. The building that the chair came from. Then became the Foreign office which later became then Foreign and Commonwealth Office. This chair is a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of Great British History. Large bold enamel sign that makes you smile and very rare. Sign would of been made by Patent Co that stopped trading in 1960. Has mainly age wear around the outside edge of the sign. Measurement size of 40″ x 24″ inches and a heavy sign. Sign has been touched up at some point on the yellow and black around the letter as & ye. Antique George II Silver Bullet Teapot, London 1734. A rare George II silver bullet teapot made in London 1734. The plain body standing on spreading circular foot. With carved wooden handle and slim cast spout. Engraved to lid and surrounds with a shell motifs. Hallmarked to underside for Michael Boult, London 1734. Further marks, lion passant and maker’s mark, to underside of lid. An early piece from a rare maker. In antique condition, with some issues. Signs that engravings to sides have been removed. There is solder visible to the interior on one side. Hinge is loose and has probably been repaired. There is rubbing to the engraving. Wear, with dings and extensive scratches throughout. Hallmarks to lid and quite worn. 21.5 cm (including handle). 13.5 cm (including handle). VICTORIAN METRONOME DE MAELZEL R COCKS & CO 6 NEW BURLINGTON ST LONDON. In good working order. The pyramid wooden case is in good condition for its age with no restoration. Based on the door emblem the metronome was made before 1868, when the emblem was changed. Robert Cocks stopped making metronomes in 1898, and merged with Augener in 1904 under the name Augener Ltd.
