Early 1900’s German Vintage horse racing game. Original Marklin derby table game. In good working condition, Damages visible on pictures. From what i have seen over the internet this item has all the original pieces including the middle table, the starting flagpole and all nine horses, all original paintwork too. Rare Early antique bow rocking horse from Scottish Castle with provenance

Rare large Antique Rocking Horse on Bow Rocker with Scottish Castle provenance… Circa 1830 – 1860. This beautiful large antique bow rocking horse who previously resided in one of Scotlands well known castles & comes with genuine provenance, is now looking for a loving appreciative home. Refurbished many years ago whilst still resident at Cassilli House Castle in Scotland where the Kennedy family moved to from their previous residence’Culzean Castle’ which they had handed to the Scottish national trust in 1946, Reckless underwent a more recent restoration a few years ago by Jan Rusling to include conservation of his original bow & replacement ears. He was repainted to a more authentic pattern of his period & given a beautiful horsehair mane & tail. His old saddlery & components that he came with from Cassilli house have been kept safe and will come with him to his new owner, as is all part of his history. Being the very old horse that he is (approx Circa 1830 – 1860) his bow rocks with a wobble and he has age related / wood movement cracks including around where his legs meet his body hence he has some areas of paint loss. This is all part & parcel of how wood reacts to its environment & also in reckless’s case his age. This has not been an issue to his appreciative collector as he is considered retired and has been appreciated purely as an interior piece of beauty, uniqueness & British history. His new owner will need to be understanding & appreciate that this is his nature. If you want absolute perfection he is not for you! He stands approx 47/48 high his bow length will be added. Horse Rare Antique Early 1800’s HORSE Grooming Curry Comb Wood Barn Farm England

Very Rare early 1800’s Carpenter & Co. Curry Horse comb # 1286 patent #? Made by the English firm of (James) Carpenter & Co. Of Willenhall England sometime prior to 1844. This is a hefty well made curry comb which has the Maker’s name and No. 1286 on the small heart shaped plate as well as another makers name plate on the handle. This comb was a forerunner to many American made combs of the 19th century. At the time, combs such as this were not cheaply made by the Brits for the masses but rather for the wealthy class hence the attractive, fancy handle. See “Condition Description” above for more details on it’s overall actual condition. Even with the the light dirt and rust color on brush side its in remarkable original condition for its age.
