Rare Early 2/3 Step (Small Shade) Herbert Terry 1227 Anglepoise Lamp in Gold

Purveyors of wonderful things. Hello and welcome to the sale of this superb anglepoise lamp. Made by the British company Herbert Terry & Sons in 1938 this lamp is the sought after pre-war example with a smaller perforated shade, taller fork, mid-section tensioner and earth disc. This particular example comes in it original gold painted finish and has its Crabtree bakelite bulb holder. It has been stripped, cleaned and rewired with three meters of new fabric cable, that is correctly earthed to the frame (as per originals) and new felt to the base. If your interested in Herbert Terry lamps you will know this is a good example of a rare lamp (they made less of these than the earlier 3 step version). I have other rare Herbert Terry lamps for sale, please see my other listings. In good condition commensurate with its age and use. RARE Antique Late 18c Early 19c Tibet Men’s Earring Turquoise Silver & Gold Gilt

Antique Late 18th Early 19th Century Men’s Tibetan Earring, Silver And Gold Gilt With Large Turquoise Pieces And Complex Beaded Patterns. While there are many reproductions of Tibetan and Nepalese antiques as well as modern primitive souvenirs that are presented as original pieces, we have confirmed this to be a rare and original late 18th to early 19th century antique man’s earring. The stones are high grade, and its age shows, but it is not damaged. There is soiling in the corners and crannies of the earring from age and we did not attempt to remove them. There are no cracks or chips in the stones, the piece is strong and sturdy, it is not fragile. The detailed bead-work still shows well despite age. We have found only one comparable piece of this age, which was described as being silver with gold gilt. We have not tested this piece and therefore cannot confirm that it is in fact low grade silver or if it is silver gilt with a gold gilt decoration. This does not however diminish its rarity and does not alter its authenticity. The main decoration is 1 1/8″ long and 5/8″ wide and 3/8 thick. The earring is approximately 1 5/8 in diameter. The hoop is 1/8 thick. Each high grade Tibetan turquoise stone is approximately 1/4 or bigger. Please study photos for further detail and condition. This all-original antique 12 high teddy bear has arms, legs and a head that move. The bear has gold mohair and straw stuffing. It is from 1910 or earlier. The eyes are amber glass with black pupils; black yarn defines the nose, mouth and paws. There is a hump on the upper back of the neck which indicates it was made 1910 or earlier, and a growler box which no longer works. The paw pads are made of a pinkish felt. The bear still moves perfectly and can hold poses. The fur is thin in a few spots. The right paw is damaged: the pink pad is worn through so the straw shows and the black yarn is frayed in spots. ANOTHER FABULOUS SOLID GOLD ROLEX WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIME! A GORGEOUS AND RARE EARLY 1916 JEWELED GENUINE SIGNED QUALITY LADYS ROLEX 9 CARAT SOLID GOLD WATCH. This is an absolutely beautiful good quality and rare 3 piece genuine ROLEX solid 9 carat yellow gold DOUBLE HINGED watch case. Inside the case is fully signed by ROLEX and for W&D (Wilsdorf & Davis, the original founders of Rolex). The case is in absolutely EXCELLENT condition showing only very minor wear for its advanced years. The hinges are good. The back shows no dings and only light wear. The case sides are excellent with no dings. The bezel is in excellent condition with just light wear marks. The inside of the case is fully hallmarked for solid 9 carat gold and assayed for London 1916. The case is a good size for a ladys watch and measures 2.6 cms (26mm) across excluding the lugs and crown. This is a wonderful STUNNING AND RARE bright white beautiful SUNBURST dial. I can see no damage or hairlines and it is in truly lovely condition with a beautiful red twelve. The dial is in BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL and MINTY condition and is of high quality as it has black painted Arabic numerals. It also has a black Railway outer minute track which is minty. The dial is FULLY SIGNED for ROLEX. The stunning blued steel steel hands are in great condition. The watch has a new replacement plastic crystal which is in minty condition. This is a wonderful clean genuine high grade ROLEX FULLY SIGNED quality 15 jeweled movement. This fantastic ROLEX MOVEMENT is in good working order, and is running well. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps decent time to a couple of mins per day. As always a full service would be advised for optimum performance and time keeping The crown is gold in color, is unsigned and may be the original. All in all this is a beautiful genuine ROLEX made original movement. This beautiful wrist watch is fitted with a new black leather band. It has a yellow metal colored buckle. I can assume that it would fit up to an 8 inch wrist comfortably. THIS IS A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL AND RARE SOLID 9 CARAT GOLD ROLEX WRISTWATCH IN EXCELLENT BEAUTIFUL CONDITION. There is NO exception.
