Rare Antique Chelsea Flash Pistol Camera Light. Before Fash Bulbs were invented. The flash pistol enabled a photographer to get extra light for photographs in early photography. The round bowl would hold flash powder which would be ignited when the trigger was pulled. The lid remains open, but is a friction fit and new owner will need to adjust to stay down. This is a very rare piece and would be a great addition to a Camera collectors’ collection. The trigger action is fully functioning. Please see pictures they are part of the description.
