1827 Holy Bible stereotyped in Cooperstown, New York by H & E Phinney. Original leather binding a little worn, but good condition compared to most copies that you see. Very attractive for age! Some foxing and spots throughout. Very slight weakening to hinges, but both covers are still well attached. If you’re interested in an 1827 Phinney Bible, this is the condition that you hope to find! RARE Antique 1831 Early American LARGE FAMILY HOLY BIBLE Perfect NY Baker Family

For sale is a copy of RARE! Large sized full leather cover antique early American FAMILY HOLY BIBLE in Great antique condition. It is printed in the year 1831 by the New York publisher Daniel Smith. It contains many full page steel plate engravings throughout as well as on the title page (partial loss to the title page, see photo #4). According to the family record page, this Bible belongs to the Baker family of Wallkill, Orange Co. The first owner is James Baker born in 1795. The Bible is large in dimension, 11″ by 9″ for the cover size, more than 3 thick. The front and back cover are both full leather and in good antique condition. The binding is tight and has no tears on spine. There are very slight cracks at the leather layer where the covers meet the spine, but securely attached with cloth and paper binding. Age related sign of rubbing is to be expected. All pages appear to be complete. There are age related foxing, yellowing, staining commensurate with age, please check all photos for detailed condition. All in all, this is a rare early American religious text with foldout maps ready to become a significant piece in your antique bible collection. Rare Early 1766 Sterling Silver Nicholl Family Crested Marrow Scoop Antique

A rare early Georgian English antique solid sterling silver marrow scoop. It is hallmarked for London 1766 with the makers mark being that of James Tookey. It has been made well and engraved with a crest similar to that used by the Nicholl family. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. 8.75 inches (22cm) long by over 0.75 inch (2.1cm) wide and weighs 50 grams. A rare quality piece. Antique Early 19th Century Beatrice D’Este Oil Portrait Rare Family Crescent

Original circa 1800’s, Baked Ceramic, with a very highly detailed Oil painting of Beatrice D’Este. At this time the artist is unknown. Backside of ceramic has original lines from the antique firing process used to form the one piece mold. This piece is one solid baked mold, with the family crest built in. The painting itself is highly detailed, and does have some crazing. There are a couple of chips that could use repair. The piece is approx. 15.25″ tall, and 9.25″ wide. It has the original hardware hanger. This is a must have for any collector. This beautiful painting was found some years back at an estate sale in Virginia. We can’t remember much about the elderly woman who lived there, but that she was French, and moved to the US in the 1940’s after WW2. Please see all pictures, any questions feel free to ask. ANTIQUE FAMILY HOLY BIBLE SALESMAN SAMPLE CIRCA LATE 1800s/Early 1900s RARE

No date I could find, but likely late 1800s/early 1900s. Includes specimen pages of the new and devotional and practical pictorial family bible containing the old and new testaments…. Very interesting details throughout. All covers attached, tight and bright. Some wear to cover edges – see photos. Some pages a bit loose but all are intact. Most tissue papers covering B&W and Color illustrations are present. Some are not or have tears (see photo of one). Gilt edges with beautiful intricate, scalloped, gilt cover design with beveled cover edges. Back cover shows an alternative cover design – less gilt but still very detailed and scalloped – see last photo. Approximately 12-1/2″ x 10″ x 1-1/2 thick. Overall this is a very good example of this unique sample bible in great shape for its age and use. EARLY 1811 RARE Antique FAMILY RECORD SAMPLER Liberty KLINGON Eberly Embroidery

1811 Family Record Sampler. Presented for your consideration is this early sampler. The sampler is all hand embroidered and features a floral border around the outside edge as well as the bottom. Bottom edge reads Liberty Klingon Sampler 1811. On the bottom half of the sampler are several initials representing different family members. Top half of the sampler features the alphabet in upper and lower case lettering and numbers 1-14. The sampler is framed in a thick wooden frame. Attached to the back of the sampler is information about the family that the sampler is about. This information states that the initials on the front and back represent the following family members: Ann Boyd, William Klingon, Liberty Klingon, Mary Alice Boyer, Bette Champion, G. Tripp and Thelma Tripp + Eberly + Harris. The sampler came out of the Eberly estate in Jackson, Michigan. This rare sampler would make a great addition to any ancestry or embroidery collection! It looks like there are letters missing from the lower case alphabet. These appear to be the only stitches missing on the sampler. Light fading from age. Mild wear on the frame. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the best details. Sampler alone measures 11 1/2 square. Entire piece measures 14 1/2 square.
