Super high quality early break arch clock dial face circa 1740. Engraved makers initials to rear JR. Thick heavy hand beaten brass dial plate. Foliate engraving, wheat sheaf edging. Incorporates rare hand painted lunar calendar dial with 29 days with painted disc 2 moons. Great project or restoration piece or simply fitted with quartz movement for display purposes. This is a very rare Original 1900s powder calendars lithograph. This Was pulled out of a barn that was built in 1820 and is an as seen as found condition please look at pictures for details. Check out the amazing scene where a father or grandfather is teaching this boy how to hunt. I believe this is called the lesson it is a great looking lithograph and is completely original. Colors on the actual lithograph are absolutely amazing and in great condition there are a couple of spots where it seems to want to tear and some slight tears on the side left bottom some spotting but overall I would say this is really nice condition for the age of the item a rarity. You just dont see these come up for sale. Dont let this slip in to someone elses hands. RARE ANTIQUE FRENCH CALENDAR CLOCK early 19thC SWEEP SECONDS & PIN PALLET ESC. Rare French calendar clock c1810 offered in good working order and good condition. This large clock with long duration mechanism has 5 hands to the dial showing date, day, hours, minutes and seconds. The magnificent mahogany case of ziggurat form with ebonised sections, applied ormolu ornamentation and a parquet type floor to the interior. The unmarked mechanism is large and runs for over 3 weeks. With pin pallet escapement and large ormolu sunburst pendulum seen swinging in the opening below the dial. Weighs 8.6kg before wrapping. The large case stands 22″ (56cm) high, 15.75″ (40cm) wide and 6.5 (16.5cm) deep. The large dial 7 (18cm) in diameter.
