Very Rare Early Antique Long F Steiff Bear 17 l and 13.5 tall non jointed wooden wheels. Condition is good overall Used as shown with signs of wear from age- a true original! Paul cord but growler no longer works. Some small holes hear and there and some minior stitching here and there too over time but please look at all photos. Eyes look slightly diff in color? He has a very sweet face and mohair has thinned a bit throughout but still has life left in him yet! Rare early velvet Steiff begging dog with button

A rarely seen, early miniature Steiff velvet dog made in a begging position. Known as Teo, he still has his underscored’ff’ earbuton c. 1908, and sits 10 cms (4) high. All original, except for his neck ribbon, Teo has tiny black bead eyes, and an embroidered mouth with some faint red airbrushing above it. Woodwool-stuffed, there’s some slight settlement to his right ankle, so he needs a little persuasion to sit on his hind legs. But once erect, he usually stays that way and doesn’t topple over! There’s a scrap of his original collar remaining, along with strands of neck cord and, overall, he’s in good hound dog condition, with just a patch of discolouration to his back. This cute diddy character travels with his homemade velvet cushion, and is shown with his feline friend Tabitha, available in a separate listing. Standing about 7 is this precious very rare old steiff non jointed rare teddy bear circa 1910 WIth ID in good used overall condition with slight mohair loss overall and some tiny bald spots and thinning as shown. Paw pads original but show obvious wear as shown with excelsior showing! Can not stand cuz front legs but floppy excelsior has moved softened. Please see all photos carefully. Here I present this early very rare Steiff brown open happy mouth Teddy Baby bear. He is fully jointed, head, arms and legs and has glass eyes. He wears a bell and original leather collar around his neck, teddy baby chest tag though bit worn still present! Also old long f button in ear! Very Good used vintage antique condition, with only minor signs age and wear for age. Paw pads minor soiling, nice Mohair covering still with some thinning throughout and a few patches missing Mohair bear legs especially. Baxter – Early RARE SIGNED 1900’s Steiff C1908 Teddy Bear Antique Old FF BUTTON. Introducing Baxter – I love him! He dates to around 1908 and was made by Steiff. He is fully jointed, stuffed with woodwool and stands around 16.5inches tall from toe to ear tip! He really is such a joyous bear!!!! He retains his original boot button eyes, felt pads, original facial and claw stitching. He also retains his original burnt orange ribbon and ff button to his ear! Is also extra special as during the 1980’s his owner took him to get his foot autographed by Steiff Family members; Hans-Otto Steiff (who was president of Steiff, and his great grand-aunt was Margarete Steiff) and his wife Birgit Eitle Steiff! Baxter is covered in lots of fluffy blonde mohair with long limbs and a hump. He has a really friendly smiley face and would be an extra special addition for any antique bear collector. It feels a privilege to hold such a wonderful bear who is over a century old!!!! He is photographed here with his Teddy Baby friends and his best friend 1930’s Hoggle the brown steiff, who are all looking for homes.
