Rare Uranium Green Peter Pan Float Bowl August Walther and Sohne Germany Depression Era. This is an ultra rare large heavy Green Uranium clear and frosted art deco float bowl. This float bowl is called the Peter Pan and Tinker bell float bowl set. This set is absolutely gorgeous in this condition. The Peter Pan Figurine and the block are both frosted. This float bowl was made in the Depression Era 1920’s / 1930’s in Dresden, Germany between the two World Wars. This float bowl is 80 or 90 years old. The Peter Pan figurine stands 9.5 inches or 24cm high without the flower block. The foot of the Peter Pan is 5.5 inches or 14cm in diameter. There is 1 small smooth chip under the edge that sits on the block just near Tinker Bells hand. That is the only damage and otherwise the Peter Pan Figurine is in good condition. This Peter Pan has the rare stripped tunic not the plain tunic version. This rare float bowl has been in my collection for a long time, but now some one else can enjoy this lovely float bowl in their collection. The bowl is the rare Samrock bowl, it has 4 leaf clovers around the bowl. The clover flowers protrude out of the glass on the back of the bowl and the whole bowl is frosted or acid etched. The inside of the bowl is clear and it looks wonderful. The bowl measures 13 inches or 33cm in diameter and 3.5 inches or 9cms high. There are no chips, cracks or repairs anywhere on the bowl and it is in very good condition for its age. The flower block measures 6 inches or 15cm in diameter. There are no chips, cracks or repairs anywhere on the flower block. There are air bubbles in the glass in some of the pieces from when they were made which is typical for the manufacturing process for this era. When the parts are assembled and on display it is a very large heavy float bowl. Don’t expect this Peter Pan float bowl to be brand new, it is 80 or 90 years old and in very good condition for its age, as you can see in the photos. So you can expect to have the few little imperfections from when it was made. These bowls with a complete float bowl don’t come up in the Uranium Green colour very often, or in the Shamrock bowl, they are very scarce. You see the odd Peter Pan or Block but it’s rarely in a complete float bowl set any more. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition and how it glows under a black or UV light. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely frosted Uranium Green Peter Pan Float Bowl to protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.

Rare Uranium Green Frosted & Clear Art Deco Boy. Sitting on the Fish Float Bowl 1920’s or 1930’s. This is a rare Uranium Green frosted Art Deco Boy sitting on the Fish. The uranium figurine is frosted. The uranium float bowl is clear with a frosted finish on the leaves which are protruding out of the back of the bowl. The rim of this bowl turns into the bowl and is a straight rim and is extremely rare, I have not seen another. Most of the leaf bowls usually have the rim of the bowl turning over and out of the bowl. The Boy sitting on the Fish Figurine. Flower Frog is 7.25 inches or 18.5cm high. The built in flower frog is nearly 5.5 inches or 14cm in across. There are 2 tiny chips on the inside edge of the bottom of the flower frog where it sits in the bowl. Otherwise it is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs on the figurine. The round bowl is 12.75 inches. In diameter and is 4 inches or 10cms high. There are 2 tiny nibbles on the side of the foot which are hard to notice and you really have to look to see them. Float bowl is in. In diameter at the base and almost 5 inches or 12.5cm in diameter across the top of the stand. It is 3.75 inches or 9.5cms high. In good condition with only a bit of roughness or you could call it nibbles on the inside of the top of the stand. The tiny imperfections have been mentioned for accuracy. You rarely see these uranium green float bowls anymore, they are a lovely bowl. Float bowls in this good condition are getting very scarce, you hardly ever see these Boy on the Fish float bowl sets. It is a good quality figurine and float bowl and is very heavy when combined and on display. These were made in the Depression era 1920’s and 1930’s and are nearly 100 years old. Both the figurine and the bowl glow strong under a UV light. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. I will double box this lovely green frosted and clear uranium Boy on the Fish. To protect it, and make sure you get it in the same beautiful condition it is in now.

Offering this hard to find rare antique wood dough bowl. Measures 14.5″ x 13.75″ x 4.75 T. This is an early beehive style bowl with a thick footed base. Has an incised rim on the inside but not the outside. Does have a tight line as seen. Displays a nice wear and patina. Great and unique bowl.

Rare Antique Registered Design Royal Doulton Series Ware 8.5/22cm Porcelain Bowl (David Copperfield & Uriah Heep – Charles Dickens). Lovely rare Australian registered design bowl. David Copperfield is the eighth novel by Charles Dickens. It was first published as a serial in 1849-50, and as a book in 1850. The novel features the character David Copperfield, It is his journey of change and growth from infancy to maturity, as people enter and leave his life and he passes through the stages of his development. It has been called his masterpiece, “the triumph of the art of Dickens”. Some elements of the novel follow events in Dickens’s own life and It was Dickens’s favourite among his own novels. In the preface to the 1867 edition, Dickens wrote, like many fond parents, I have in my heart of hearts a favourite child. And his name is David Copperfield. Uriah Heep is a fictional character created by Charles Dickens in his novel David Copperfield. Heep is one of the main antagonists of the novel. His character is notable for his cloying humility, obsequiousness, and insincerity, making frequent references to his own “‘umbleness”. His name has become synonymous with sycophancy. Royal Doulton was an English ceramic manufacturing company producing tableware and collectables, dating from 1815. Operating originally in London, its reputation grew in The Potteries, where it was a latecomer compared to Royal Crown Derby, Royal Worcester, Wedgwood, Spode and Mintons. Its products include dinnerware, giftware, cookware, porcelain, glassware, collectables, jewellery, linens, curtains and lighting. Three of its brands were Royal Doulton, Royal Albert and Mintons. These brands are now owned by WWRD Holdings Ltd (Waterford Crystal, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton), based in Barlaston near Stoke-on-Trent. On 2 July 2015 the acquisition of WWRD by the Finnish company Fiskars Corporation was completed. The Royal Doulton company began as a partnership between John Doulton, Martha Jones, and John Watts, with a factory in Lambeth London around 1815. Doulton products came to the attention of the Royal family. Including Royal Doulton, Minton, Beswick, Dunn Bennett, Booths, Colclough, Royal Albert, Royal Crown Derby, Paragon, Ridgway, Queen Anne, Royal Adderley and Royal Adderley Floral were moved under the umbrella of Royal Doulton. However in 2005 Waterford Wedgwood completed a takeover of Royal Doulton acquiring all assets and brands. In September 2005, the Nile Street factory also closed. Along with other Waterford Wedgwood companies, went into administration on 5 January 2009. Royal Doulton is now part of WWRD Holdings Ltd. Some items are now made in the parent company, WWRD Holdings Ltd in Barlaston, south of the Potteries Conurbation. Further production is carried out in abroad including Indonesia and Poland. On 2 July 2015 the acquisition of WWRD by Fiskars Corporation was completed including brands Waterford, Wedgwood, Royal Doulton, Royal Albert and Rogaska. The acquisition was approved by the US antitrust authorities.
