Elegant yet playful art deco porcelain lamp base. Lamp consists of base with geometricaly cut sides, at the center a tall tree is situated and a large elephant standing next to it. Base is marked with Royal Dux mark used in early 1920s. Perfect collectible condition, tiny chip on edge of base. Please keep in mind this is only base from the lamp – no wiring or shade is present. This is a gorgeous and VERY, VERY RARE. Fenton Glass made, Diamond Optic White Opalescent. That was Made for the Edward P. To be used by them, in making lamp bases. This beautiful Fenton special order, white opalescent bottle has a Fenton Factory-made indent’hole’ on the bottom center of the bottle-and seen in the pics-that was put there purposely, as that is where the glass would have been’popped through’ where a lamp pole would have been inserted. The clear applied handle is what was known as’Nicked Handle’ aka:’Bamboo Handle’. There is NO stopper. Because these were never meant to be used as bottles. As other Fenton cruet/bottles were. Because lamps need no stoppers. The bottle stands at, 5.5 high and is 4. In diameter at the widest area. This bottle was never even used for a lamp. I also have another UNUSED, Fenton, Cameo Opalescent Hobnail bottle, that was made for them as well-where the bottom-side hole was punched through where a cord would have been inserted. Here is a very nice Cloisonné bowl that I understand to be Chinese but unsure. There is damage to the blue enamel on the base. There black look in good condition with no major damage but I can see some tiny tiny bit of enamel missing, I think this is common for the age. Rare early vintage Herbert Terry Anglepoise Lamp 3 Step Base 1227 in Black. Made between 1935 to 1938. This came from an old workshop in Cornwall and is in as found condition. It is working but it would advisable to replace the old cord and bulb holder. All the bolts, screws, springs etc on this lamp are original with no replacements. Old period spinning wheel spool holder tripod base hand made early 19th c rare. Early rare spinning wheel spool holder. Original not reproduction, early 1800s 2. Upright posts are hand turned, pegged into the bottom 4. Firm wire holds spools on, pull across by knobs on the right side 5. Notice the little white decoration on the top of the posts 6.
