RARE EARLY HADRILL HORSTMANN PROTOTYPE ROLLER LAMP. 1940s INDUSTRIAL ANGLEPOISE
September 5, 2020
ULTRA RARE PROTOTYPE HADRILL HORSTMANN ROLLER LAMP. Designed by Fredjo Horstmann, this lamp dates from the 1940s. London stamp (not the later Godalming stamp 1950s onwards). This is a prototype lamp with extended base (this is a large desk lamp not a floor lamp). The lamp has been professionally polished to a mirror finish on the base, shade, fork and counterweight. The shade itself has retained its shape, but there are a couple of minor dents and scratches/scuffs (difficult to photograph due to the reflective surface). Please be aware that the lamp is over 70 years old. It has had a working life and it therefore has imperfections. Contact me if you would like additional photographs. New chrome bulb holder and re-wired in 3-core, grey vintage flex. Not currently PAT tested, so you are advised to get it checked. Fully extended the lamps stands at approx 1.1m in height. PLEASE SEE MY LISTINGS FOR FURTHER LAMPS FROM MY COLLECTION. The item “RARE EARLY HADRILL HORSTMANN PROTOTYPE ROLLER LAMP. 1940s INDUSTRIAL ANGLEPOISE” is in sale since Friday, July 17, 2020.
