RARE EARLY ANTIQUE C1830 FRENCH PARIS PORCELAIN MINIATURE PERFUME SCENT BOTTLE. Offered for your consideration is this charming, rare antique miniature Paris porcelain scent bottle dating circa 1830 and measuring approx. 3.7 cm in length. This laydown bottle has pink and green body with gilt outlines and an oval cartouche at the front in the centre with the handwritten words “A l’amitie'” written in scroll on a white ground. The bottle has a silver gilt screw lid with a fixed bale at the top so that it could be hung from a chain or chatelaine. The bale has a tiny French hallmark. This fine Palais Royal souvenir scent bottle would have been given to a sweetheart as a token of love or friendship and is offered in exceptionally good condition with no flaws noted and is a superb antique miniature perfume bottle for the discerning collector.
