THANK YOU FOR VIEWING MY LISTINGS. This listing is for. Automatic is the KEY Word.. The following is what I have learned. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS if you have any. I have described this the best I can. As is where is AS DESCRIBED. And ASK questions if you have any. (6 years short) and WORKING. Unfortunately I was only able to acquire this Master Clock. BUT if YOU have the relay and the Bell. Then you will want to add this to your collection ;=. The Wood Frame measures about 8 square and is made to hang the clock and hide the terminals and it fits tightly – it looks homemade and weighs about 1.1/2 pounds Mahogany I THINK. I would want a different display if I were to keep it. Either a nice panel to hang on the wall. Or the curved desk display. The clock weighs close to 6 pounds! It is about 3.1/2 Deep. The dial states that this was made for. SPAULDING & COMPANY, CHICAGO. The Brass bezel measures about 5.1/2″ across and has a small vintage dent on the outside edge (see picture) This unscrews so everything can be accessed from the front – The clock face and hands are in very good condition and measures about 4″ across. The back is sealed closed. The patent number of the clock is December 31, 1901 and the MATCHING serial number on the movement and the back of the clock is number 182790 and that dates it between 1925 and 1929 but closer to 1926! The movement is CLEAN and has been sealed – I do not have a history of the clock and it does not appear to have been worked on – I wound it and after a slow start it ran and chimed as it should for the past week 1 bell for 12:30 2 bells for 1 Three bells for 1:30 up to 8 bells repeating for 4 8 and 12 (the ships watch). I have not re wound it. This is what the advanced collectors collect. From my research I found that Chelsea Clocks. Are owned by a long list of. James Arness Bing Crosby Barry Goldwater Bob Hope BILLY JOEL Rocky Marciano Aristotle Onasis David Letterma n John Wayne General Douglas MacArthur Each member of the Greatful Dead! ______________________ your name here. Movies the Chelsea Clocks were in. The Hunt For Red October. Clear and Present Danger. I think that would be on a good day with the wind blowing in the right direction without the high seas! I can start it with a reserve and never sell it OR I can list it with a fair starting price and let the big boys come out and play – I choose not to start it 99 cents and hope…. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF YOU HAVE ANY. Stay safe and be well – Dave. Please review the description and photos. And ask any necessary questions. THIS IS ORIGINAL – VINTAGE AND. Don’t let my low starting price fool you. YOU KNOW YOU WANT IT. DON’T MISS YOUR CHANCE. THE US 48 STATES. My Choice of INSURED. Double boxed and well protected. This will probably weigh close to 10 pounds. After I package it. Clock and Frame weigh 7.1/2 # alone. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION. As a Photo is worth 1,000 words. Please feel free to contact me.
