Rare antique block plane collectible L Bailey’s patent 1858 1867 odd cap early

Estate find, as found, uncleaned, for restoration, I have not seen this plane before, the cap is definitely odd and early, the iron is marked L. Bailey’s patent Aug 6 67 & Aug 31 58; 6 1/4″ long, 1 7/8″ wide, for parts or repair, rust, wear, chips, dents, cracks, damage, missing parts or miss matched parts are possible, all for parts or repair, restoration, please see all photos, need clean up and musty from long storage, AS IS AS SHOWN, location X2.
