RARE, Museum Pewter Water Bottle. This is a rare, early 19. Century English pewter water bottle. A similar/identical example is pictured in the reference: Pewter at the Victoria & Albert Museum, p. The bottom of this bottle has the inventory label LPH78.2 from the London Towne Publik House Museum (Edgewater, Maryland) when it was on exhibit for over thirty years. This is the only example we have seen or had for sale in almost fifty years. Very good with untouched patina. Twin Tankard Antiques is one of the world’s leading dealers of antique European pewter.
