Hi, welcome to my listing and thanks for looking. Name: Stuart Crystal, England. Type: 1920s champagne glasses. Size: 7, 17.9cm. Weight: Approx 147g x 6. Condition: Very good, no damage. No chips or cracks. Comments: A superb set of Stuart champagne glasses, lots of cutting that looks stunning. Perfect for that head table etc. Rare to find a full set of 6 from this period. Quality that will not disappoint. Viewing and cash on collection are welcome from Oxford. I have tried to give the best description I can, if you think I have mis-described it in any way please let me know. All parcels will be sent registered post (unless otherwise specified). Please bear in mind that as a general rule all used glassware will inevitably have the odd light mark or two. Chips, cracks, bruising, stains etc will be mentioned.

Five Fine & Rare Early 19th C. Antique Boxwood Cello Pegs. Super looking old pegs with a great patina. These aren’t identical but close in size and style. It’s difficult enough to find any. Two hundred year old cello pegs, so a near match is sometimes as good as it gets. These have heads of 44mm to 47mm across, shafts 40mm to 55mm long. Tapering from 12.2mm /14mm down to 11mm/11.7mm, though shafts can always be shaved down to. Achieve a uniform taper.

Like many pieces from this time there are flaws – one chip as seen to the underneath of the base, a repair between his head and neck which has been done well, and a line in his cloak as well as wear to the pearl like coating. There isn’t much I can find about this piece – he may well be King Arthur and this particular style of figurine is extremely rare.
