Rare Antique Early Kaiser Universe 400-day Mantel Clock – Astral Torsion Clock. Rare universe torsion clock. I believe this to be one of the 1st models of this clock. Brass and painted case with glass dome. Astral and zodiac dial. Automation clock in the arched dial. Brass bezel with bevelled glass with enamel dial. German 400-day spring driven movement. Measures 29cm high by 14cm wide & 14cm deep dial is 8cm in diameter. Fantastic rare torsion clock with automation on brass and painted base with original glass dome dust cover. This is a beautiful and very rare Loetz decorated art deco era vase standing 7 high and dating to the 1920s. As the pictures show it is a glossy orange with black stripes typical of the Powolny Tango designs and made more unusual with extra detailing and white glass beading. The vase is in excellent condition.

A view of the bridge over the river Aisne at Soissons. Condition: Good, given age. Two small tears in top margin consolidated with acid free tape.
