An excellent, rare and early example of a Tudric pewter hot water pot / lidded jug, with cane handle. Most likely an Archibald Know design. Identifying Marks / Makers Marks. Marked on the base as shown in the images. Age / date of manufacture. This is an original. Measures 20.5 cm / 8 long. Vintage condition, with a hinge repair, and some light knocks to the body, nothing deep. Please see images for cane work and repairs. Antique Rare Early Lehmann Balky Mule In Box With Original Paper Instructions

ANTIQUE TIN LITHOGRAPHED GERMAN LEHMANN BALKY MULE IN ORIGINAL BOX WITH RARE PAPER INSTRUCTIONS STILL INCLUDED! Outstanding estate collection dispersal allows us to offer this great, rare Lehmann Balky Mule tin lithographed wind up toy in it’s original box, with it’s original instruction sheet. As you can see, the outer box shows moisture stain, age wear and fray with some loss to the top lid label. It base is holding together very well, but we do have some lid corner tears as you can see in our posted photos. We also note some pencil writting on the interior of the box lid. Inside the toy has been preserved well, with the little box string that may have held the toy in place still attached. The reins for the clown to hold are there also, but are no longer attached to his hands. Wonderful vivid color for the lithographed tin, and bright fabric colors still remain. Wind up on the base bottom is working… We are not sure that if it is working correctly with the reins not attached. The thin, fragile little paper of instruction is written in German and English. The print is very clear and readable, but does have some age yellowing and discoloration. A wonderful piece that is a rare find! Toy measures in at 7 & 1/2 long overall. Ask questions if you have them… We prefer our clients to have Public, rather than Private, feedback. Additional Packaging Requests : We have received a few requests to ” double box ” our items. This is a rare and highly collectable piece of Mouseman tableware, ideally suited as a pin coin or key bowl, possibly for nuts, I have never seen one made from a single burr before, it is absolutely stunning. We have lightly cleaned waxed and polished it, the finish is exquisite throughout, no piece of wood I have ever held in my hands looks and feels as good as this. Height:- 3.8cm. RARE Fine Pair Meiji Early Japanese Silver Wire Cloisonne Enamel Vases -Geishas. A very beautiful antique Rare Pair Early Meiji cloisonne vases. The plentiful colors are brilliant and gold and silver wire detail is outstanding. The ground color is uncommon and beautiful. I would call it a yellow-green, if that helps. These vases are very, very old, exhibit very high standard of fine Japanese hand craftsmanship. From the early, early Meiji Period, the cloison detail work in gold an silver wire was certainly performed by a master of Japanese cloisonne. These antique vases are in excellent original condition. No evidence of trauma, but some hairline cracks can be seen in photos. I believe these are from age or the period made. Some normal wear to base. Vases display very beautifully. The recurring white spot is flash off high gloss finish. These may not be shiny and perfect like the newer ones, but these are the’real deal’, if you like very old, original pieces. And they are beautiful. Approximate size is 6 tall. Please see photos as an integral part of this description. Sometimes the camera catches what I don’t. Please ask any questions. From my own personal collection, these fine vases would be an excellent addition to your own cloisonne collection. All reasonable offers considered. Please check my other auctions. This is a rare and early 18th century tulip or flower vase “tulipiere”. Representing a feast with a putto drinking wine and a second one holding grapes. Probably to show the end of the harvest made by. The manufacture of Delft circa 1710. Please check the photos for restorations. Both handles are missing. This is a wonderful document because of the rarity of the object. The flower vase measures 27.5 centimeters or 10 3/4 inches in height. 23.5 centimeters or 9 1/4 inches in width and. 6.5 centimeters or 2 1/2 inches on the protruding relief.
