Exceptionally fine and rare Georgian Regency period swivel intaglio seal ring – 1820. The seal is red carnelian carved with a shield containing a chevron in the lower third below which is a bush and also the motto MINATUR – and above which are two birds facing to the right. MINATUR is almost certainly short for the Latin expression MINATUR INNOCENTIBUS QUI PARCIT NOCENTIBUS meaning He threatens the innocent who spares the guilty. A superb ring in excellent condition – most unusual shank which is cast, pierced and engraved – and swivels! This is a very elegant, impressive and fine quality ring. Direct from a private London collection. Size seal – 1.6 x 1.3 5 cms. Weight – 9.5 gms. 40 and to USA is 32.40. Antique Beautiful Closed Mouth Very Rare Early Simon Halbig 719 Doll 12. In original Traditional German outfit. Stunning little doll with swivel head and shoulder plate and fine bisque arms Her head is marked S2H 719 Swivel head is a lovely pale bisque with closed mouth and pierced ears, she has little brown sleep eyes Her face is just beautiful! Her arms and hands are fine pale bisque with lovely blush detail to the hands it might be missing tiny tip on index finger not really noticeable, or maybe what just from factory. Her body is cloth in very good conditions no visible leaks or repairs. She lost her wig away, She is dressed with German outfit with Original very fragile blouse (ripped one side) lace up corset metal hooks (missing 1) Her skirt is plaid cord is partially out of the waist pocket, underwear pants, and underdress slip in good antique condition, socks are stained I didn’t take those out because are tight to the feet. Currently the head piece is just pin attached, it will need some detailed cleaning on porcelain for greater looking. Condition: No chips or cracks to her head. 1 tiny paint chip her left eye. Tiny nibble to bottom of index finger but possibly done in production. Eyes working fine sometimes will not close when head is straight but if you swivel back will work just fine. RARE Articulated Swivel Arm Early Electric Medical Lamp Clamp Bergmann Era 19thC

RARE Victorian Early Electric Articulated Swivel-Arm clamp-on lamp. I have done much research, but was not able to conclusively identify the maker of this remarkable lamp. Clearly the design indicates that it dates from the late 19th century, and it was also obviously an electric lamp (an early model) – never a gas lamp – but beyond that I don’t know. Could have been a medical or dental lamp, or perhaps simply for the parlor of an affluent and forward-looking early adopter of electricity. Very well made, with original worn fire-gilt finish and patina intact. Socket was replaced at some point, since the one on it now is a slightly later model (1905-ish, I believe). Comes with a fine ruffled’French-etched’ shade, replete with botanicals and cherubim. Shade has slight roughness at the fitter (typical of the era), and one very small’flea’ bite on the ruffled edge, almost impossible to see and photograph, but I did take a photo of it. Rewired with cotton-jacketed cord, there is approx 5′ of running cord from the clamp end. Please use the close-up feature to fully examine the details and condition of this vintage item. 26 overall full length w/ shade. Clamp will accommodate from 5/8″ to 1 5/8″. For your consideration, I have a rare swivel neck with cobalt blue enamel sleep eyes in original set. Her only flaw is the chip in the top of her left leg. Early peg jointed arms and legs. There are two kinds of antique roses at her neck. The Antique cotton tulle bobble tambour. Lace has a touch of blush to it. The under dress is also rare lame silk and she has silk covered buttons. Her hat has a feather that of sets the color in her skirt. The silk ribbon in her hat is also very old. The hat is made out of tiny point de spirit lace and lavender silk ribbon with pink silk ribbon on the edge. She will bring joy to you every time you look at her.
