Rare 8-keyed flute stamped DROUET / LONDON. Speaking length 585 mm, total length 663 mm. Embouchure hole 11,3×10,3 mm. 3 Keys missing, 2 keys incomplete, bottom ring missing. Partially restored with the same material (recycled from a broken piccolo headjoint) of the original. There is also an old repair with metal, and a visible small crack (see photo) with no air leak. The B-flat and G-sharp keys had been recently repadded with leather, old E-flat key pad still working. Closing the holes of the missing keys with wax the instrument plays well, and the pitch is somewhat high. Please write for any additional info. Raro flauto a 8 chiavi con marchio DROUET / LONDON. Lunghezza dal foro di insufflazione 585 mm, lunghezza totale 663 mm. Foro di insufflazione 11,3×10,3 mm. 3 chiavi mancanti, 2 chiavi incomplete, anello inferiore mancante. Parzialmente restaurato con lo stesso materiale (riciclato da una testata di ottavino rotta) dell’originale. C’è anche una vecchia riparazione con metallo, e una piccola crepa visibile (vedi foto) senza perdita d’aria. Le chiavi del si bemolle e del sol diesis sono state recentemente ritamponate con pelle, mentre il vecchio tampone della chiave del mi bemolle è ancora funzionante. Chiudendo i fori delle chiavi mancanti con cera lo strumento suona bene, e il diapason è alquanto alto. Scrivete per qualsiasi informazione aggiuntiva.

This very rare raw tin Antique Alms Keeper’s Bank is a real find. The condition is almost extraordinary, since the original fabric screen (used so the coins could not be shaken out) is still intact. The hinge is beautifully made as is the hasp for the padlock which supposedly kept the coins for the poor. All in all a real rarity for a collection of early American tin or banks. 2.4 Diameter (base).

Fresh find from a West Virginia Country Farm Estate is this Rare Early Antique Mortising Post Hole Axe Stamped Johnson & Price Co. Unique early piece that looks like it spent its life as a shelf queen. Appears to have its full length some signs of mushrooming as weve shown in the pictures. Somewhere in its past someone used its side to cut something with a chisel leaving tool marks as weve shown in the pictures Measures 9 ½ long, 3 ½ tall and 1 ¼ thick at head. RARE EARLY 20TH CENTURY VINTAGE WELCH’S GRAPE JUICE WOODEN BOX CRATE, W / RED & BLACK INK STAMPED SIDEWALL GRAPHIC ICONOGRAPHY & FINGER-JOINED CORNERS, WESTFIELD, NY. American vintage early mercantile advertising. Originally Contained (24 Pints). 19″ Width x 8″ Height x 14 Depth. In simply outstanding overall antique condition, with red and ink stamped graphic iconography on all four sidewalls. It has finger-joined corners and features all wood construction and a wood plank floor. With absolutely wonderful black and red ink stamped period typography, that is still clear and crisp, this is a fabulous early 20th century advertising wood box crate, produced by the famous American food and juice company out of Westfield, New York, the Welch’s Grape Juice Company the national drink. Produced somewhere after the turn of the century, between 1900 and 1920, this is an earlier, older American wood box crate, which is a great example of early American mercantile advertising. The box crate doesn’t suffer from any real, noticeable depreciation of its ink stamped sidewall typography and it also doesn’t suffer from any depreciating stains, wood loss, corner loss, fractures, board loss, flea bites to its edges, dry or wet rot. This is simply a gorgeous box. It won”t disappoint. Very Good to Excellent overall vintage condition.
