RARE ANTIQUE EARLY MING DYNASTY WHITE PORCELAIN GARLIC TOP VASE. This is a unique early Ming Dynasty (1400) porcelain garlic mouth bottle vase from a South China sea shipwreck. Celedon glaze incised Ming era leaves surround the neck and motifs of fire balls and phoenix decorate a red copper glazed band. Carbuncles inside the bottle and on the base are evidence of its years at the bottom of the sea. No cracks, chips, excellent condition. The item measures 13 inches high (33 cm) x 7 inches wide (18 cm). This beautiful vase is a stand alone piece and would fit into any environment modern, antique or contemporary. Ceramic from a shipwreck is not just cargo to be salvaged, its a priceless document for history.
