RARE Art Deco KARL ENS VOLKSTEDT Porcelain NUDE LADY Female Figurine

This is a superb Art Deco figurine of a nude lady from Karl Ens of Volkstedt. The stunningly beautiful’Blanc de Chine’ figure is posed seated upon a cloth covered log on a malachite coloured ground surrounded by geometric squares of gilt, typically Art Deco. She has her hair tied up, held by a gilt hairband. She measures 5.5inches (14cm) high and is in fabulous condition with no chips, cracks, glaze crazing or restoration, with the gilt being bright and unrubbed. Please see detailed photos to appreciate the super condition. The base is marked with the ENS windmill mark and the model number 4858. Rare Antique Nymphenburg Porcelain Goat Figure Figurine Porzellan Ziege Figur. This product data sheet is originally written in English. A rare figurine of a goat made by Nymphenburg during the early to mid 20th century. Not sure what kind of goat it is as I cannot find another and it’s not even in my books which is unusual. The figure is superbly modeled with lots of detail and is hand painted to perfection as one expects from this maker. I think Nymphenburg makes the best animal figurines in the porcelain world. The piece is about 3.625 inches tall, 2.75 inches deep and 5 inches long. The piece is marked with the impressed shield mark underneath with the impressed numbers 618 over 8. The piece is in perfect condition with a couple of tiny black firing spots sometimes seen on their animal figures. Ziegenfigur German Germany 20thC. A rare antique early 19thC Derby cobalt and gold decorated porcelain inkwell / pen stand. 10.5cm diameter x 7.5cm overall height. OK condition with no breaks or repairs to the main body but with crazing / staining to the interior and areas of rubbing to the gold decoration – the inkwell is holed. Description: Here is a rare early 19th century Spode floral porcelain basket. Handpainted with floral sprays on a white moulded basket weave ground with relief moulded flowers. Gilt decoration to the top rim and handles. Impressed to base with a circle with a x to the centre. Dates from 1790 to 1820. Measures: 8.9 cms wide x 6.5 cms high. Condition: One of the moulded flowers has a small chip to one of the petals (see photo 14). It has age related gilt ware to the handles. There is a tiny small black mark behind one of the moulded flowers. There is also some grit in the porcelain. All other countries please contact me for a quote. ESTATE FROM PRIVATE COLLECTION. Rare antique circa 1890`s CAC Ceramic Art Company (pre- Lenox) porcelain mug with football or rugby scene. Looks like signed by artist Kemp? CAC was started in 1889 by Lenox and John Coxon. Lenox bought Coxon out in 1906 and the name was changed. CAC (ceramic art company)was founded in 1889 by Walter Scott Lenox and John Coxon. Lenox bought Coxon out in 1906 and name was changed to Lenox’s. From the start, it was organized as an art studio and not as a factory. It did not produce a full range of ceramic articles but rather one-of-a-kind artwares. The company at first had just eighteen employees. Lenox’s products were first displayed at The Smithsonian Institution in 1897. According to the famous book. By Shirley & Jerry Sprung, Walter Scott Lenox founded the Ceramic Art Company in Trenton, NJ in 1889, but Lenox assumed complete control around 1895. In 1906, the name was changed to Lenox China Company. The early pieces marked CAC for Ceramic Art Company are coveted by collectors.
