Final reduction before I decide to keep the item. The item will end in the next couple of days. A rare, early and genuine Bergmann Vienna Austrian cold painted bronze. Arab girl with stone pot, Urn, Ewer stamped with the Bergmann mark and model number 2897. This is an early piece produced c1900. The Roman numeral mark VIIII may indicate a production date of 1909. Stunning detail and casting quality which hopefully you can see in the detailed images. I have not seen another example of this rare version with the stone pot which really does make this a substantial piece. The detail and realism of the pot, wooden frame and rope is extremely. Approximate dimensions & weight. The item will be very well packaged. Collected in the first half of the twentieth century this striking board comes from the Eastern Kimberley and would have belonged to the Gija People. A similar group of boards were collected by Tom McCourt and are attributed to the Gidji sic and are documented in his book – Aboriginal Artefacts page 54 and 55. I owned and handled several of Tom McCourts boards and this one has very similar paintwork with the exception that the carving underneath on this example is a simple diamond outline to one side. The board shows great signs of use and has an encrusted surface and dry patina. It measures 78cm x 14.5cm. The item “Rare Aboriginal Painted Message Board Eastern Kimberley WithA Early 1900’s” is in sale since Friday, November 20, 2020. This item is in the category “Antiques\Ethnographic\Pacific Islands & Oceania”. The seller is “dingoblood” and is located in Montville. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Part of our , “American dolls” celebration. Here for your enjoyment and consideration is an extraordinarily, RARE very early all original, 22 tall, wigged and bare foot , antique oil painted, stockinette cloth ALABAMA BABY doll by Ella Smith of Roanoke, AL. Most of these hand painted dolls have only painted hair and painted shoes. She has tab-jointed shoulders and hips with individually stitched fingers and toes, applied ears, sturdy shaped legs and distinctively shaped derriere for sitting as well as the circular head seam (no painted hair) beneath her original, thick curly human hair wig. She also has originally painted, vivid blue eyes, lashes, brows and nicely shaped mouth and nose, painted arms and lower legs. From a private Virginia collection, she has been preserved in all her original clothing consisting of a fantastic antique, blue and white, sailor style, pinafore dress, shirt with blue collar and cuffs, matching blue and white sailor bonnet with buttons, undershirt and lace camisole, pantalettes, original blue & white knit stockings and leather shoes with side button closures. She has had no repairs or repaint and no touch-ups although she does have the commonly found age split to one side of her face and wear to her shoes as shown. She has no odors or fading and is from a smoke free home. Her clothing is in excellent condition with no stains or tears, no repairs and no fading. Her very own small Alabama baby doll is NOT included and will be listed separately. See page 20, 16th Blue Book-Foulke. It is believed that her wig and antique locket are from her first owner. Please note: nearly all of our items are antique or vintage (usually with some signs of wear due to usage and previous storage). We do our very best to describe and photograph them for you and do not repair, restring, repaint or enhance them in any way as most collectors prefer to find them in their original state. Please use the zoom feature on our photos as they are an important part of the description. Let us know if we can help you with anything else. We have more antique dollhouse furniture and antique dollhouse dolls available, each listed separately. We appreciate five star reviews.
