A Rare Very Early Antique Noritake Twin Handled Lidded Floral Pastel Vase c1902. A beautiful and very rare, early Noritake twin-handled, lidded floral vase bearing the single blue Noritake Komura mark to the base, dating the vase to >1902. The vase is of a beautiful four-footed pedestal form with twin open-top handles and lid with pointed finial. The vase is intricately hand-decorated with pink, purple and yellow blossoms with foliage and beautiful gilt beading and scrollwork on a white and turquoise ground. A really wonderful, early collector’s item. The vase is in quite remarkable condition with no chips or cracks to the body even the handles are good! But there is a little rubbing to the gilt around the topmost rim. The lid has been broken but professionally restored with the damage almost invisible to the outward facing area. A really good piece of restoration. Please see photographs for more information. The vase is 33cm high (including lid), 14cm diameter, 1063g weight. RARE EARLY 19TH CENTURY AME RI CAN FOLK ART NEW ENGLAND ANTIQUE, 7 1/4 in HEIGHT, HAND DECORATED REDWARE HANDLED PITCHER, with VARIEGATED OLIVE GREEN GLAZED, DIPPED TOP, NATURAL BISQUE FIRED RED CLAY CERAMIC BOTTOM & WIRE CUT BASEPLATE. Estate fresh & found with two other similar. Pieces in southern New Hampshire. Early 19th century Ame ri can folk art antique redware decorated, glazed ceramic pitchers & other wheel-thrown art pottery vessels. 7 ¼ ” Height x 6 ” widest point x 3 ¾ rim Diameter. X 3 ¼ base Width. Estate fresh and found in the same rural home here in southern New Hampshire, along with two other similar early redware ceramic vessels. This small, 7 1/4 in height early 19th century Ame ri can folk art New England primitive wheel-thrown and hand decorated, variegated olive glaze dipped top, redware clay, ceramic handled pitcher, features a slab-constructed, attached handle and unglazed bottom of the vessel, showing bare redware clay, that’s been fired in the kiln. The resulting finish is compelling, visually captivating and very active, with the colors of the olive glaze fluctuating, as well as its sheen. The bare redware clay shows all the natural phenomena of being fired in a kiln, with flashes of sepia brown, burnt sienna, burnt umber and putty white. The attached slab-constructed handle is intact, as is the top rim of the wheel-thrown body and is devoid of any hairline cracks, noticeable flea-bites or repairs old or new. 100% authentic and original, with no fill or in-painting. In great shape for being about 200 years old. This and two other pieces were found together in the same home, wrapped up in newspaper in a covered box in the pantry. RARE Early Antique PEWTER Double Handled EGG CARRIER HOLDER Ornate BIRD

Early Antique Egg Carrier. Presented for your consideration is this early egg carrier or holder. The carrier is made of pewter and features ornately designed handles on the sides as well as the top of the carrier. Top of the carrier has two flaps which open to reveal the removable, two tier egg holder. An ornate leaf pattern is on each of the four sides of the removable carrier and there are a dozen slots for eggs. The carrier easily slides in and out of the holder. The front side of the carrier has a small bird engraved into the middle. This early and hard to find egg carrier would make a wonderful addition to any pewter or kitchen item collection! A fun item to store eggs in! There are two holes in the bottom of the carrier but could be soldered. Flaps are bent inward, but not drastically, and the insert shows some bending on both tiers. Bottom edge of the front and back appears to have been repaired at one point. Typical light wear from age and use. Overall in GOOD-VERY GOOD condition.
