Offering this antique handmade metal tin set of tidy lamp stand and Betty lamp. Measures 10″ T x 6.25″ base. This is a hard piece to find. Stand made same time in the 1800s for the Betty to sit on. Has a great patina and wear. Both are in good overall condition. The bottom of the tray does have rustic hole damage as seen. Nothing loose or unstable. Great piece of lighting. Came from a collection of good lighting. Expect imperfections consistent with age and use.
Offering this antique wood bucket. Measures 10″ T (29″ including chain) 6″ top diameter x 7.5″ base. This is a well or grease bucket. Has the best attic surface cabin style look. Was a barn find. Has the wood woven band on the bottom and the other is missing. I applied a clear glue on some the staves so doesn’t loosen in dry rooms as seen. (It’s tight) One side on the outside and inside has old grease still on it. Great piece with an old chain attached to it. Expect minor imperfection consistent with age and use.

Offering this uncommon antique tin grease whale lamp. Measures 11″ T and base diameter of about 5″ (slightly out of round). This piece is amazing. Has 3-wicks with a slide top. Can be turned upside down as seen in last picture. There is few to no apologies on this piece. The drip tray at the base as a couple very minor separations but nothing loose and hardly noticeable. This piece can be a center piece, on an end table, and about anywhere. Has a dark patina, slightly rustic, and all natural surface. Pictures don’t justify the look. Recently discovered and offered for your review and consideration is this very rare and extremely exciting Boston, Massachusetts late 18th to early 19th century Ame ri can Folk Art hand made’Double Crusie’ wrought iron and tin cup’Betty’ or’Phoebe’ whale oil, hand held grease lamp. Found very recently in a well-appointed Boston, MA early estate, it’s remarkably rare, not only because of its unusual form, being a’Double Crusie’ Betty or Phoebe whale oil lamp but because it’s absolutely untouched, undisturbed and largely as it was originally constituted, incredibly some 190 to 230 years ago. It would be hard to find a 200 year old piece of Ame ri can primitive lighting in any better original antique condition than this. Very Good to Excellent overall antique condition.
