Very Rare Antique Art Deco Jadeite Green Uranium Opaline Glass Large Pitcher Jug. This wonderful large pitcher jug is a fabulous example of Antique Jadeite Opaline glassware. Created in the early 20th Century in UV Sensitive Uranium Glass it is a fantastic rarity. These Jade coloured opaque pieces made in Britain by the Stourbridge makers and in France by the likes of Baccarat rose to popularity in the art deco period and are still highly sought today. This particular piece is a striking example with its unique shape and footed base, large exaggerated applied handle and of course its delightful colour and reactive glow. A spectacular addition to any collection or display. 18.5cm tall, 17.5cm in length and 12.5cm wide at widest point. Base is just over 9.5cm wide and across rim is 12cm in diameter. Condition is’Used’ – Good overall antique condition with some wear commensurate with age such as a couple of scratches that are dark in appearance mainly on the base but a couple of spots to surface in places. 4 Rare Antique 1920’s Fenton Carnival Pink Glass 5 Open Swan Open Salt Dishes

Offering four, individual matching, iridescent pink carnival glass Fenton open dish swans. These original ones are very rare. Swans belonged to my great aunt and I was told she used them to hold mints on her dinner table during parties but in the old catalogs they are called, open salts or match holders. This set of four is from the 1920’s before Dugan bought the molds. I did my best in the photos to catch their true color but it was extremely difficult. I would call them Pink. Yet there is a shimmering iridescence that brings out other colors like gold and orange. Typical of Carnival Glass. The swans measure 5 1/4″ nose to tail and 2.5″ across the wings and are very detailed in the glass. They are not perfect. Along the top edge of one swan’s wing there are some tiny nicks. I have noted it in the photos. I also found a rough spot on the tail of one although you cannot see any chip in the glass. It might be a rough place left unpolished when it came out of the mold. RARE EARLY PAIR MURANO GLASS LAMPS. Impressive and rare pair of murano glass lamps. The glass is hand blown in style of ribbon work and latticino. Three colours of white, green blue and gold fleck (copper aventurine). Elegantly shaped and standing on original metal bases enamelled in the original colours. These lamps will need rewiring. An exciting, rare and highly decorative unique original pair of side lamps. Size – 63 cms. (53 to top of glass) Total Weight – 4.7 kgs.
