Squirrel is in excellent over all condition with no cracks, dent’s or hole’s, and has a very nice aged patina. Squirrel stand’s 22″ tall not including bottom rod, is right at 24″ wide and 3 thick. Come’s with every thing pictured. These squirrel weather vanes are super rare and do not come up for sale too often, they were made between the late 1800’s and early 1920’s. HERE WE HAVE A TRULY WONDERFUL AND RARE EARLY VICTORIAN COPPER BATEAU BATH FOR SALE. THIS IS AN EARLY VICTORIAN EXAMPLE AND COMES ON AN ORIGINAL SET OF WHEELS WHICH WOULD PROBABLY SUGGEST THAT IT WAS ORIGINALLY USED IN A HOSPITAL OR SOMEWHERE THAT REQUIRED IT TO BE MOVED ON OCCASION. THIS BATH WAS BOUGHT IN THE UNITED STATES BUT IS MORE THAN LIKELY TO HAVE ORIGINATED IN FRANCE IN OUR OPINION. THE BATH IS IN ORIGINAL ANTIQUE CONDITION WITH A “DOLPHIN” TAP TO THE REAR CORNER. THE BATH OOZES CHARM WITH AN AMAZING PATINA AND EARLY CONSTRUCTION METHODS SHOWING SUCH AS RIVETS ETC. THE TAP (AS YOU WILL SEE FROM THE PHOTOS) IS TRULY A THING OF BEAUTY AND THIS WOULD SUGGEST THAT THIS BATH IS UNDOUBTEDLY FROM A VERY HIGH LEVEL MANUFACTURERS AND WOULD HAVE BEEN A REAL ROLLS ROYCE PIECE IN ITS HEYDAY. WE HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO CHECK IF THE BATH IS WATERTIGHT BUT APART FROM THE DAMAGE NEAR THE TOP OF THE BATH ALL THE SEAMS LOOK TO BE INTACT AND IN GOOD ORDER. FROM OUR RESEARCH WE WOULD SUGGEST THAT THIS BATH DATES FROM THE 1830s APPROXIMATELY. MEASURES :145cm long x 63cm wide at widest point x 32 cm wide at front x 85cm high at back x 78 cm high at front.
