A superb early Bronze Age copper/alloy flat axe. Size; measuring 88 mm long, 3.5 inches. Date; approx 4000 to 5000+ years old. No provenance; probably Eastern Europe. Rosenthal Art Deco Pierrot Clown Playing the Concertina, Measurements: 19.25 cm tall x 8.5cm Wide. Rosenthal of Germany were famous for their top quality fine porcelain tableware & figurines Rosenthal can be compared to the finest German Porcelain Manufacturers, including: Meissen, Nymphenburg & Hutschenreuther. The gold trim, which is 22ct gold, was not used on all examples. The figure is in fine condition, although some wear can be seen to the shoes. Please see last image. Otherwise there are no chips, cracks, finish issues or signs of previous repair. Possibly modelled by Constantin Holzer-Defanti. Marked on the base with the Green Rosenthal Selb Bavarian factory mark. A rare find, especially in the UK! Estimated Date of manufacture: 1910 – 1920. Very rare early opalescent and iridescent Loetz shell vase on what appears to be marble stand. From my research this was produced in 1897 and is called zephir chine technique. Glass shell and metal are in perfect condition. Some minor, 2 or 3 very small chips to edge of base where it meets the table, as pictured. Engraved old style numbers to the bottom of the marble as pictured. Measures approximately 6 1/2 inches tall. Please see my other vintage art glass I have listed.
